Hugohuge Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I hope so. It will be my first ArcSys event, and thats the only game of theirs that I play.
Zoular Posted January 6, 2014 Author Posted January 6, 2014 @Fist good to hear mate From Victoria I'd say your fastest route is taking the tube. Victoria line to Green Park. From Green Park take the Jubilee line to Baker Street. Then from Baker Street take the Metropolitan line to Harrow-on-the-Hill. All North/West bound Check the OP it has directions to the venue from there, and here's the London rail map. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/london-rail-and-tube-services-map.pdf Be sure to check the service a week before 25th, so you know how the lines are doing. @EUChamp there has always been weeklies for P4A in London during Weekly Shonen Burst, the community is just rather small.
EUCHAMP Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 coming from poland to play p4u/mb; see you guys there
Fistmaster049 Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Wow Poland? dang, UK tourney getting some serious attention
Zoular Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 We are pleased to see visitors from outside London, let alone UK EUCHAMP @Fist http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/livetravelnews/realtime/track.aspx?offset=9 Looks like the Metropoliton line will be going through maintenance that weekend. From Marylebone you could take the Chiltern Railways national rail, or stick with tube from Baker Street and take the Bakerloo tube line. The Bakerloo line would take at least 30min, I advice Chiltern Railway. Be sure you have an Oyster card for cheaper fares.

Zoular Posted January 18, 2014 Author Posted January 18, 2014 Something we Londonders use here, well when you reach a place to buy tickets just ask staff which is your cheaper option. It would be the simple orange tickets or Oyster card route.
-Kid Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Wait, the metropolitan line is undergoing maintenance next weekend? Well shit, lol.
EXonestar Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Wait, the metropolitan line is undergoing maintenance next weekend? Well shit, lol. If that is undergoing maintenance - whats the next best route? I don't have a lot of money if its gona be bus/trains / switcher-roo's and tings. D; (plus I'm lagging a suitcase)
cmdr_nippon Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Just for those who are travelling via the met line on Sat do not fret unless you are coming from Uxbridge... Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 January, no service between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Uxbridge. Trains will still operate between Aldgate, Wembley Park and Harrow-on-the-Hill, but will not stop at Preston Road or Northwick Park. Replacement buses operate. This is while we replace track at West Harrow and Ruislip and renew drainage at Hillingdon. Replacement buses operate: Service A: Harrow-on-the-Hill - Northwick Park - Kenton, for Bakerloo line and London Overground - Preston Road - Wembley Park Service D: Harrow-on-the-Hill - West Harrow (Treve Avenue) - South Harrow, for eastbound Piccadilly line - Rayners Lane - Eastcote - Ruislip Manor - Ruislip - West Ruislip, for Central line and Chiltern Railways - Ickenham - Hillingdon - Uxbridge Hope this clears up some worries.
Zoular Posted January 22, 2014 Author Posted January 22, 2014 Looks like the Metropolitan tube line is good from Baker Street to Harrow-on-the-Hill
ban1son Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Should be makin my way down for this one, just wondering will u get stamped or something? so u can leave the pub and get back in.....
Zoular Posted January 22, 2014 Author Posted January 22, 2014 We'll know by face and name, just let someone that signed you in know. It shouldn't be a problem.
EXonestar Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Looks like the Metropolitan tube line is good from Baker Street to Harrow-on-the-Hill Aiiiite cool. I'll be there brah !!!!
Zoular Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 (edited) And as I say that, looks like it's down again http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/livetravelnews/realtime/track.aspx?offset=2 I suggest everyone use the site to find an alternative route, National Rail is still an option from Marylebone, you could take the Chiltern Railways. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/london-rail-and-tube-services-map.pdf Regarding Metropolitan line "Trains will still operate between Aldgate, Wembley Park and Harrow-on-the-Hill, but will not stop at Preston Road or Northwick Park." So it's still good if your heading from Victoria Edited January 23, 2014 by Zoular
EUCHAMP Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Hey guys what time will p4 start? I saw 1500 for mbcc. I wanna drop by and play for a bit but I Have other things to do that day too. Thanks
Zoular Posted January 25, 2014 Author Posted January 25, 2014 It's really based on amount of tournament entry. BB, with most amount of interest, will most likely start first around 2-2:30pm. Other tournaments will be around 3pm. We plan to have tournaments ready for recording so there's more time for casuals.
EUCHAMP Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Im on my way but I'll prob get lost or something! Can someone reg me for p4/mb please;_;

Ronove Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Wish I could have gone, but "busy" would be a euphemism to describe the load of the work I had in the last weeks. Are you guys planning to organize this again in the following months? Also, GG results/vids?
Zoular Posted January 27, 2014 Author Posted January 27, 2014 Actually Guilty Gear is another batch of vids Kiba, so yeah I'll link those once they are uploaded online. There's a lot of events this Month so I may have to push the date back, but that gives people more notice if they wish to make the next event. Details will be revealed soon.
