i had the loops for a while myself, i just didn't know where to go with the combo after 2 or 3 reps. Not much you can pick up with at that height.

 

Just decided on a boring ender. Wanted a way to get double j.4B in there meterless somehow.

yeah you can do that from a little closer than corner to corner. 

 

after the 2nd or 3rd 6C you can do iadj.4B but off of that you can only OD cancel or RC, nothing else will combo. (preset bumper maybe?)

I really wanna see some new D bumper setups and gimmicks. Also some new astral routes with and without OD since 5D is jump and special cancelable. If you guys see any clips put them here please I cant wait till summer!

Presumably anything into corner web nail > 5D can lead to astral. Maybe not from point blank but if not then definitely from a little bit out of the corner. 5D>CT works and CTs have a huge startup too and that works in any range.

5D wallbounce is the same, but you can jump/special cancel it

 

 

you can do 2CCH>2B>5D>292A>j.4B>2B(cross out of corner)>923B

 

so i'm assuming if 5D>292A>j.4B works, astral will work.

I just had an idea for Bang in Extend.

 

Because 5D can be just canceled, you can hop on the closest bumper (above you or closely next to you), and dash down to the enemy to do a combo.

So during pressure: 5b > 5c > 5d > jump cancel > bumper3 > 5a > combo?

 

Or does that give the enemy enough time to recover out of hitstun?

You can't jump cancel 5D on block, only on hit and if it's a standing/crouching 5D hit then they will recover before you even touch the bumper lol.

 

Beyond blockstrings and into comboing,. the main issue with bumper combos is that the bumper combo must entail the bumper placement itself mid-combo otherwise it's too unstable. Like, in cs2 you could confirm a 6C with the bumper placement necessary for the bumper combos while in newer games the bumper had to already have been set which makes it not really worth going for when compared to other options or a very rare/setplay heavy thing. Basically, good luck having a bumper exactly when you need it while you do your 5B>5C>5D string so that a jump cancel will put you on the bumper.

 

 

I'll tell you what though, you may not wanna jump cancel the 5D and go into the bumper but you may wanna bumper-cancel it! 5D special cancel would give you enough time to place a good bumper and then go from it into bumper-centric combos(on air hit) or mixups. Time will tell how those would go but it's at least more promising than 5D>5A (which is something you can already do without hopping up and down a bumper on air hit and not really that great lol)

Yeah that makes more sense. But what I meant was if the bumper was already there. Assuming you broke the opponents block with 5c overhead into 5d, you would use the bumper to reset yourself and do a combo meterless, unlike the present game.

 

But if the enemy recovers quickly enough, then never mind lol

B nail also has this other trait to it, it seems to recover instantly (though it halts your momentum like C nail still) so you can toss it and then toss another nail instantly in a way that makes it seem like you tossed two of em. It's more of a trick than anything but it should help in some situations, especially if someone's trying to run under it expecting it to be at B nail speed.

Can someone post an image or something detailing the new bumper placements? I need to know how much i need to adjust my corner bumper setup

yea corner bumper mixup is gonna need both B and D bumpers to function if you want it gapless repeating highlow pressure.

 

Damn i really liked current B bumper. The new one is too high.

Man I love all of you guys. 

 

I probably wouldn't know any of this stuff because I don't watch JP footage. 

Maybe one day, I'll meet some of you guys in-game and maybe we would rub each other the wrong way. So we might be enemies and hate each others guts. Maybe one person will get salty over the other.

 

But the other half of me will still love you because you liek Bang.

You still can TK them, the TK ones are like of the past with the exception of one of them appearing right on top of you so you can set and use it asap.

Nu's are lenient with a minimum height requirement.

 

I could never get min-height bumper with bang.
