west coast (cali) has it golden...there are more players!!! us east coast have to travel for tournies and get togethers are alot more harder to organize....so you have to be determined as hell to play guilty gear to play people

like this weekend i lost to a testament at a tournament......i beat this guy plenty of times before but i lost and was like wtf.....i did robo dash and he kept countering me with that testament poison shyt....doing wake up super like the poison one cause i used the wrong oki....(used 5k instead of 5p) and all types of dumb shyt...thought about switching to venom cause i would have more control on what im doing and the lockdown with him is insane but i really like the zoning game i use with robo-ky and everytime i watch dogura i feel like robo ky is the shyt!

lol, dont robo dash testa.... i warrant (thats the moves name) shit with him all the time ^_^ its a gross counter, you can bait though! frc the dash, they whiff the warrant, and LOLS ARE TO BE HAD throw down a L3 bazooka and go for the dash or the dust or L3 horse, or you know... whatever you like :D

lol i think i found out a new gimmicky thing to do with det mode det mode, wait until you have 7 blocks of tension -> command throw, steal 3 blocks, RC the throw, 5s, 236236s super garunteed hit of the explosion lol ideal after a gold burst, since you have 7 blocks of tension at 8 or 9 lol its 200 damage, even after the prorate of the throw lol

no you CAN`T have him in the corner! otherwise you get pushed too far away from the punchsuper...

If you wanna play RK for serious you might wanna invest in a stick. I couldn't do 5HS frc on pad ever. ALSO: Learn Combos and don't suck.

if you wanna use a pad, id suggest using a L1 or L2 frc button if your gonna try for that level of play seperate hands = goodness for the speed basic advice? try to get the basics down first... so avoid the 236236p super (the countdown into BOOM! one) and try to keep your heat low missiles are a good overall attack, keep your tension up, and just try to use his safer pokes to start (use 2s too often for example and see what happens)

just looked at it and it looks like it could help a good deal . Here's the thing , I'm playing with a controller not a stick . How does all that convert into things I might recgonize ? (i.e x,o,square,and triangle ) ?

Here's the default button layout for accentcore( and any other gg) X-K [](square)-P triangle-S 0-HS R1-D R2-taunt/respect and, if your confused about all the numbers, those are the directions you have to input. Just look at your numpad. For example, 236 is a quarter circle forward, 623 is a shoryuken/dp motion, 7,8,9 is jump, etc. You should try to read the accent core guides, and learn about system mechanics and such. You might want to play around with every character too, since robo may not be your thing.

R1 = DUST and the pad on a ps2 controller is.. ...S... P.....H ...K... MOVEMENT: 789 456 123 facing to the RIGHT, pretend that 5 is the center of your d-pad... so 9 is up/right and 1 is down/left look at your keyboards numpad for quick reference

You guys are being an immense help and I thank you all . Also I am going to try to play a little of Faust , he strikes me as another charecter who is easy to learn . I'm always probably going to use Mr . Robo Kye tho cuz I really like his dust move and other combos that I have seen .
