  1. HRAP's are worth the extra dough. The stick that comes with it is a JLF, and the stock buttons are not half bad. If you want to throw Sanwa's or Seimitsu's in a HRAP its really easy to do, and its not hard to put custom artwork on it either. Mayflash isn't bad, but its not the best either. I played on a modded mayflash and it worked fine and was comfortable. Personally I'd go with a Hrap, but its up to you. _____ I had a question for you guys too. I was wondering if there was any way to mod seimitsu buttons so that they are like sanwa's? I.E. Taking the Button Plunger out, and replacing the seimitsu microswitch with a sanwa one? I don't have any seimitsu's to test this, but I'm pretty sure that I'm not the first to think of this, so I was hoping if any of you have ever tried it.
  2. I guess I worded my question wrong, but what I meant to ask is "how does the game feel?" If its stiff like KoF XI I'd rather not throw down 50$ to try it, but if it feels like Garou: MoW I'd be willing to try it.
  3. Here's the default button layout for accentcore( and any other gg) X-K [](square)-P triangle-S 0-HS R1-D R2-taunt/respect and, if your confused about all the numbers, those are the directions you have to input. Just look at your numpad. For example, 236 is a quarter circle forward, 623 is a shoryuken/dp motion, 7,8,9 is jump, etc. You should try to read the accent core guides, and learn about system mechanics and such. You might want to play around with every character too, since robo may not be your thing.
  4. If you wanna play RK for serious you might wanna invest in a stick. I couldn't do 5HS frc on pad ever. ALSO: Learn Combos and don't suck.
  5. Hey, is 98UM different from any other KoF game? I heard that the original 98 was supposedly one of the best in the series, just wondering if thats because of the playable roster of it its different gameplay wise.
  6. On getting that knee rocket, I've been trying, for a visual cue its right around when he puts his hands on his ears, I think its also somewhere in between what he is saying. maybe right between when he says roppongi. I haven't gotten it down pat yet, you're probably better off just muscle memory-ing it.
  7. Since I got the US version of AC I've decided to learn more about the game and hopefully get better (been a big fan of GG for about a year). And I began to ponder: How important is it for a new player to learn frc's? I know it must depend on which character you're learning, but since everyone has FRCs ?
  8. Sup guys? I made the stoopid choice to get one of these sticks It was only 20$ and I didn't feel like blowing a whole lotta money to try out sticks. Its really crappy, and I was wondering if any of you thought it was even worth modding? Or, since I didn't really like the feel of the stick(this one is really crappy, maybe custom sticks a re better?) should I just stick to a pad?
