Think twice before using Rassenga/Zaneiga as a pressure tool in this MU. Every time you try Azrael can use either 236D or 214D and his super armor will block, then get him a CH that leads to intense pain.

Jabaki is a good way to exit pressure strings safely instead.

Barrier blocking works really well to push him away after 5BB so he can't hit you with most followups. Instant barrier blocking works even better.

Barrier blocking works really well to push him away after 5BB so he can't hit you with most followups. Instant barrier blocking works even better.

 

Always ensure you IB the 5BB too, it's really telegraphed due to the first 5B. This gives you some wiggle room with 5A/2A at times.

 

As Mo mentioned, Azrael doesn't appreciate Barrier at all due to his lack of a dash. This might make him resort to Gustaf which is -2 if you IB it.

 

Never fail to abuse the fact that your 5A/2A are better than his. Your 2A in particular is 3F faster than his.
