Despite the title of "Kansas City" this community encompasses a lot of different players from different cities in Kansas and Missouri, including, but not limited to:

Overland Park
Olathe
Lee's Summit
Blue Springs
Larwrence
Whiteman AFB

To become a part of the Facebook group simply send a friend request to anyone in the group and they can add you. That's where most of the announcements are but we'll be making a better effort to keep this thread up to date as well.

Hookups and venues:

Hookups are usually weekly, but sometimes they will be cancelled or changed. ALWAYS check the Facebook page to make sure the hookup is on for that night.

Saturdays:

Time: 8:00 PM to whenever

All-purpose fighting game hookup. Play casuals or arrange serious sets or ranbats in anything you can think of. Livestream at http://twitch.tv/kcsrk. Typically preceeded by dinner at Vietnam Cafe at 6:30; come get your pho on. No ending time!

Thursdays:

Where: Blue Springs, MO (Join the Facebook group or PM Ludwig here on DL for the info)
Time: 7:30 PM to whenever

Weeaboo shit (GG/P4/UNI/MB/BB) hookup. Bring your waifus/dakis/figures/booze. Generally things start with meeting up for food at 7:30 with games starting at 8:30. If interested message Ludwig directly.

Kansas City's long running monthly tournament series now has a new home!

There is a $10 venue fee for this tournament that will be reduced to $5 if you provide a full setup (console with all necessary characters/updates and approved lag-free monitor).

Check Facebook group for when Maxout will be, it happens every month but the dates change every month as well.

Updated the OP! We just landed a hype new venue for our monthly tournaments and are spreading the word hardcore. Come check us out if you're in the area. The P4U love is especially strong around here.
