[FB] Online Issues

I haven't heard much on this issue since the game dropped, but how is everybody's connectivity in terms of getting into rooms? I imagine that there are general connectivity issues based on the server's load, but now it seems like a rampant issue. Success in getting into NA and EU rooms has dwindled to virtually nothing, and getting into a room in general seems to end up in a game of luck with Quick Match's placement (coincidentally, the last time I was in .

It's strange, since when finally getting to a match the game typically runs pretty smooth regardless of where the opponents are from. After a few nights of half-hour to an hour sessions of trying to get in anywhere, I have to wonder if anyone has any advice towards a solution of any kind or if it's just the way it is. For the record, it's like this most times of the day I try (based in NA, typically play late nights into early mornings and afternoons) and I've been wired since day 1. Though it's been a short time span, this only seemed to rear its head shortly after the 1.02 patch. Granted the player base is probably still growing and stressing infrastructure, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

You do realize you can manually search the rooms right? I'm not trying to be mean but quick search didn't work very well back in EXVS, you probably got lucky early on.

Well I only try Quick Match when I've exhausted the time I have only to fail to get in rooms through Custom Match. It's either that or I back out and train/FB missions. Normally I use Custom Match, which unless I missed something is the default way to search for rooms? I'm still getting my feet wet when it comes to an expanded friends list, but I suppose I could try that option next...

I believe we are friends, send me a message if you want to team-up sometime! When I play online I always choose the second to last option within Player Match, it lets you know what rooms your online friends are in and what your connection to the room they are in then I just jump in one. Lol, yeah I actually tried joining your room before and after I got your invite not too long ago, but I still ran into this incessant error upon attempting to join.

It's not my connection timing out, but I guess I can give it another check... At least this has given me some time to check out more units, but CPU's can only do so much for ya.

Ah actually I know that error. It's when you have a disagreeable connection to someone else in the room that isn't the host. Unfortunately there's not much you can do about it I'm afraid besides check your network settings.

Thing is, it comes up even when joining a room of one. What would I be checking my network settings for exactly? Coincidentally I just got out of a packed room...

Usual PS3 stuff, making sure your connection isn't NAT 3, port forwarding, though honestly, all I can say is that it's mostly whether or not your net agrees with the other guy's overall. I have a friend who I simply can't join in rooms but he can play with my other friends just fine.
