Hey everyone, this is my first post on here. I just bought P4A for Xbox 360 and am wondering which character is a good character for a beginner to use? I have no past experience with anime games. I'm excited to finally get in though! :)

20 mins. of training with each character and checking some basic combos.

After that, your call.

I wish you luck in beating challenge mode, learning combos, and finding a few characters that suit you. Definitely try to get a feel for all of them!

A little worried about the execution aspect but i did some research and this game doesn't seem too scary. I tried to learn GGAC + R but that is way to complicated. This looks much simpler! xD and thank you!

I would suggest playing online more often than against the AI, since the AI is pretty bad about a lot of things in this game and you'll get run through by other players if you only know how to fight the game itself.

This game could actually help you get better at GG. It's not all too complicated, some concepts are present in both games.

Execution is the main thing yeah, it's not too hard to get down with P4U though.

Netplay is super important as well if you don't have access to local players.

GG is just not beginner friendly. A lot of the options and moves aren't even in English, or in very old/hard to read symbols. The game isn't that hard to understand at a basic level, but Persona is a lot easier to learn, and by then, you'll have pretty much a good understanding of GG as well.

*see accent core plus R for English move names*

Thanks for the advice!
