LukewarmHoliday Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 The system sucks and if someone has one lag spike they're kicked from the room until it closes. There are also used to be a lot of really weird interactions with people joining after the room is formed managing to get people kicked because they lag to each other while not lagging to the host. I don't think most of those exist anymore though. Just stop resitting and kick people between games.
Skyheartxia Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 please don't try and dictate how someone enjoys their experience. if you get kicked from a room due to lag, it may be because that person does not enjoy games with lag in them. simply ignore and move on to play with others. Some people dislike lag more than others and are more strict about it. but there are hundreds of people who play, im sure you can find people who wont do that.
Sabator Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 He's not talking about actual lag, but sudden momentary lagspikes. Even the best ISPs in the world have those from time to time. It might only last 10 seconds, but those 10 seconds of you dropping to 1 bar can be enough to get you kicked from the only room available in your region.
LukewarmHoliday Posted July 16, 2014 Author Posted July 16, 2014 There are also grand moments where you're green to everyone in the room but red to the host for all of 5 seconds because routing in the US is gr8. Whenever a room uses lag limits its wait enough enough people get screwed so they join the next shuffle room someone else makes. Then there are times where its just am erratic host and its stuck 8-9/12. It's reaaaally not that hard to kick reds, especially since people stick around more when you're managing your room. I host whenever I don't have the red bar bug.
Kazamura Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 the way this game determines connection isn't exactly the best anyway. since in the end, you;re connecting to individuals when the match starts. anything is bound to happen when you tie 4 different internet connections together. regardless of strength. i've played with reds that don;t lag or have hardly any delay, and greens that spike at the very beginning of the match or halfway through. it's hilarious.
