There's gonna be a Brawl/Melee tournament going on there September 5th that I hopefully can catch a ride to with some San Antonio peeps.

There REALLY is no BB players but they have it to play for FREE on console and maybe convert some gamers into playing this game and makeing the scene bigger. Just putting it out there. I'll be there and maybe meet and play some of yall. Like I said, no Major comp, just a place to play since it's hard to find a place for gatherings. It's free to go and play. The next location for game night is at UH in the University Center - Cougar Den (Rm 12) in the underground of the UC, from 7p - 10:45p.

We should have King of Fighters XII this week and some newer games that gamers have brought include UFC Undisputed 2009, BlazBlue, Fight Night Round 4, Tiger Woods 10, Punch Out Wii. We'll have Street Fighter IV on hand as well as the racing game Grid. And we'll still have the usuals like Smash Bros. Brawl, Soul Calibur IV, Halo 3, Mario Kart Wii, Call of Duty 4 and 5, Gears of War 2, Left 4 Dead, and Tekken DR. Plus gamers have been bringing their games like Resident Evil 5, Skate 2, Little Big Planet, MK vs DC,and various other titles. We should have at least one or two copies of Killzone 2 on hand too. If you plan to come it would be helpful to let us know what you want to play and what you might be able to bring, so we can try to accomodate. Basically to make sure we have enough consoles, screens, etc. while not bringing more equipment than we need to. We usually have 20+ - 30+ gamers coming so disregard the RSVP count.

As for the console gaming, we should at least have the usual equipment which includes 3 or more PS3s, 4 or more 360s, at least 2 Wiis, 8 or more screens and at least 1 movie/gaming projector.

If you can bring the game then yeah, but I think you will be the only one playin it. I haven't seen people play that game. Game's I've seen play are SC4/SF4/COD/Halo/PunchOut/a lil of BB (that's why I posted this to get some more people to play)/UFC. If anybody can bring setups (TV's/Consoles) That would be great. Also, is that UH gathering gonna be at the central campus off scott street, that area? I think I might have went to one of those meetings before, but then again maybe not. @faultydefense Give me like a couple weeks to get used to playing on this new stick I got, then I'll gear you good! My baiken's getting rusty, need to pull GGAC out of the box every once in a while, shake off the dust.

lol, i learned stick to be able to play at pz and arcade tourneys, but i think i'm making the transition back to pad as I still can't block overheads on stick >.>

anytime you wanna gear though, i'm down, my roommate would probably jump in too (valentine on the forums), and i know a few people to call that might show up.

i'm hoping we can convince pz to put the guilty gear cabinet back in the arcade so we can use it again next year at Showdowns (houston tourney)

Is there any other site for blazblue? I'm trying to get a community goin for this game. I like the fast pase and the combo's. I didn't try GG, and IMO it's to late to learn that game. I know of AstralHeat.com but they said they were goin to shut down. N e who. Know of any other BB match making sight?

wow, didn't realize i missed all these posts, srry sadly i live on the NW side of houston so i dunno about heading all the way to pasadena for games, I have class tonight so thats a no go, if you're doing those UH gaming nights i will try to make it out once or twice this semester damn, potential guilty gear does get me hype though i host at my place every now and then too if you want me to post up when they happen
