Nope. Try picking a character that isn't busted as shit. The player behind the character is hella irrelevant. It has always been. Ruu destroying dudes? Who cares? Bridget is still weak. Shitty player can't win with Kokonoe, so what? She's still OP.

Good question. That's a pretty big determinant on whether or not I drive in on Thursday or Friday, though I think I should stop entering a game I can't practice altogether.
