I'm pretty sure you can do more than that, especially with this throw combo I use a lot:

Throw > 5D > 5D > 2D > 2D> j.5D > 5D > j.2D > 2D > 214D.

I think the properties of her gatling are closer to this (can't really confirm since I'm just going from memory):

  • Can do two Ds of a given direction per gatling (i.e. No 5D>5D>5D or 5D>5D>6D>6D>5D)
  • 4D>4D and 6D>6D ends your gatling

Also, Nu's 6C, 2C, and all of her D combinations are dash cancelable, forward and back.

my post was a bit unclear by what i mean by gatling. I meant that you can summon swords in groups of 4 at a time. Meaning you can't do 5D > 5D > 2D > 2D > 6D. in your combo, you jumped so that resets the # of swords you can have out.

i'm not certain if i'm right or not, but i'll test tonight

Throw, dashing 2C, j.C->j.2C, dj.C->dj.2C xx 214D 3700ish That ender is a little tricky...you want to let all the Cs hit 4-5 times. Any more, and the last 2C will cause the beat to go black. You can use this same ender in a lot of other situations, as well 3C xx 214C, dashing 2C, j.C->j.2C, dj.C->dj.2C xx 214D 4B, j.C->j.2C, dj.C->dj.2C xx 214D 2C (counterhit), j.C->j.2C, dj.C->dj.2C xx 214D 236D~C (counterhit), dashing 2C, j.C->j.2C, dj.C->dj.2C xx 214D 2147D (counterhit), dashing 2C, j.C->j.2C, dj.C->dj.2C xx 214D 236236D (blocked), mixup (hits), dashing 2C, j.C->j.2C, dj.C->dj.2C xx 214D Etc.

Can you combo into any of her supers after say, drive strings? Is it worth it? I'm trying her out right now, she's pretty fun to play.

this is bullshit so she has slow fields, arakune has curses, tager has gravity powers, rachel can control the fucking weather. Jins got ice, Ragnas got whatever black emo thing that is, what is this bullshit, what about my main man Hakumen, if hes from the fucking future why the fuck can't he control time, you know like a fucking reverse time bullshit super so if you fuck up and lose all your health you can just reverse time and have full health again, and basically never fucking lose unless they can kill you before you get full meter.

I played her vs. render for a while tonight. - 5C (they block a few)->6C dashback 5D 5D dashback 5D 5D dashfwd throw attempt...etc. 5D 5D dashback 4D 4D dash fwd...etc. Random fullscreen dash mixups are sick. - 5D 5D dash throw will COMBO from anywhere the 5D hits. (O.o) - Easiest throw combo for dmg is throw, 5D 5D 2D 2D jump towards j.C->2C dj.C->2C 214D. ~3100-3400 and the beginning is entirely burst safe. Make sure the C's don't hit very many times. It's kind of a combination of the two that are listed already. - The 632146D sword super only has a in front of her and slightly above her. If you do it in the air the sword will stop right at her feet, and if you do it on the ground and they were SJing, you will miss. They have to FD it in the air. The sword will ALWAYS come out if the super flash goes off, but if they are near you they can throw you for free before it hits. You are invincible as soon as you hit the button, so you can use it kind of like a dragon punch. - CH sword super into 2C j.C->2C dj.C->2C 214D does around 4500 dmg. - CH j.214D lets you do full 2C combo also. - 2147D+C (instant fake 214D) into immediate airdash is amazingly stupidly good.

Depending on how many times you let the Cs hit, 236236D super -> Cs combo can break 5K!

Also, 2C is stupidly good.

- Dash cancellable

- Can't be air blocked

- Jump cancellable (even on block)

- Gatlings into 6C (safe on block, leads to combo)

- Gatlings into 3C (hits low)

- Cancels into 2147D (hits high)

- On counterhit leads into air combo for big damage

And so forth.

She definitely exists as a separately balanced character. She's nothing at all like the CPU version - her supers are all much weaker, she doesn't summon as many swords, and she doesn't have anywhere near as much health. At this point, it seems to me that: 1) She was intended by the developers to be a balanced character that fits in with the rest of cast, and 2) Despite that, she is quite good, and probably up there with Ragna and Rachel and big A in the tier list. Although only time will really tell.

Well since most of the comments have been covered, I do think I've found my secondary. Myu is too fun with her gravity seed and projectile barrage. j.C 2C j.cancel C 2C has to be one of the most fancy ways to do damage. Let those hits roll. Also, concerning a combo I saw using 3C to a 214 A (which in Noel and Carl's case, is 214 C), I don't see that much use in it combo wise. It's certainly good for placement, but after the gravity seed hits the follow-up damage is horrible with the D projectiles afterward. I wonder if a rapid cancel would allow you to add much more than the j.C j.2C, as in some cases 2C will hit aerial targets, as well as serving as a nice anti-air. IAD j.2C land 1C 3C into 214 A... working on the rest. ~Chun

hmmm.. if she is not too broken i am going to pick her up....good thing i decided to play rachel once i saw her before the tier list came out so i don't seem like a tier whore....and people at CTF know my rachel is not good at all :keke:

Thanks Soniti for the info. Just clarifying a few things. J2C>J2C>214D is for finishing a combo string when the hit count is still rather low (so any higher than like 15 hits or something and it will not work) For 214D loops, unless you can set-up yourself for something or do more damage overall, the loop is worthless. Canceling anything from 214D>3C to 214DC or gravity bind is really good. For landing any counterhit that ends up "floating" the opponent, (2C)>6C is the best option

Played her today. Like her alot, definitely going to keep playing her, just have to get used to this game first because I was losing to mashy ass sorry Noel players. I have to accustom myself to her optimal distance when playing too, but man is her throw combo ever sexy. 5d5d6d6d2d2d just looks like sex, my god
