Profile feed notifications

This is a rather minor gripe of mine, but the general feedback thread has been closed for almost a year now, so bear with me.

 

There are forum notifications for when a person leaves a comment on your profile, but when you leave a comment on someone's profile and they reply back, you don't get any notifications. Because of that, I could only see today a comment that's been written back in July. Compare to the previous forum engine, which did give you notifications on replies. Is there any way to bring that back?

what feedback thread has been closed for almost a year? the one i see in this subforum are open.

click on your name in the top right > My Settings

Notification Options on the tabs on the left > Look under Status Updates

i'll change the defaults so that you get a notification for that by default, although i doubt i can change existing users's settings

i didn't know it was archived, at least tahts' fixed now. in fact, nothing should be archived now
