  1. Some good stuff on Susan's mix-ups: http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1spata4
  2. Just in case, here's the Evernote I'm referring to: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s310/sh/8d3ebef8-70a4-4db4-90d5-fcd7c01e1ca5/aee6ac5d6f9a6f51c2a56f3ede5dcfd0 It says that the D Hance > 66 Hance > 66 6C works on the following characters: Ragna Noel Tager Relius Valkenhayn Hibiki Mu Tsubaki Kagura Naoto Arakune Nine Izanami Susanoo Mai That's way more than I ended up with, so I assume the difficulty of the combo varies between characters.
  3. After trying it in the lab, it does seem like the problem is in doing 623C too soon. I landed it on Izanami, then tried replaying the combo on the other characters, and most of them ended up being slightly out of reach. Apparently I'm not doing Snaphance at the dash's max distance, which means I'm not delaying it enough. Maybe it's the same for you? For the record, the other characters it did land on are Nine, Hibiki, Relius, Tsubaki and Kagura. Jin is not even listed as the viable target for the combo on the JP Evernote.
  4. What is the exact combo you're trying to do? Where do you tend to drop it? Which character do you practice it on?
  5. The Sirlin hath risen. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/11/14/introducing-fantasy-strike-a-fighting-game-for-everyone/ The game has been in the works for a while, but since you could only get your hands on the demo by paying Sirlin money (and even then, you had no rights to post any footage), all discussion was basically dead in the water. Guess that's about to change soon. I like the overall idea, even if it feels like taking way too much from Pocket Rumble. My main gripe is that Sirlin already got a game for those who want to play a fighting games with minimal inputs: Yomi. Won't this game just split the existing audience?
  6. Version 1.08 is coming to the arcades tomorrow: The devs can't say whether or not the game's coming to the console/PC version just yet. EDIT: And here is the change log: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s454/sh/33453005-c52c-4e68-a405-b8b410af55ab/b2a711378519348149b0a3e41105c59e
  7. Misclick, delete please.
  8. Apparently, Susan will be playable online one week after release, so next Thursday.
  9. A minor translation question for those who got the English version from the HK store, as I dodge the stream of spoilers in the thread:
  10. @RurouniLoneWolf Sorry for the late reply, been pretty busy as of late. You're right that it's a whole lot of info, so it's really difficult for me to choose anything specific to translate (at the very least, the combo sections don't seem to have any tips on landing combos). There is also a lot of character-specific stuff that's spread through most sections. Unfortunately, I can't promise anything nowadays, but if you're interested in any specific sections, I can at least focus on those.
  11. The arcade version is getting an update next Tuesday: http://www.famitsu.com/news/201608/02112374.html - New color palettes - Additional options and bug fixes in training mode - New animations for Heart and some stages (finally!) - Minor bug fixes for Saber and Sonico
  12. Guess we got new corner combo route now.
  13. While it is true that Sign had similar problems, the fact that it had a lot of unknown variables made it much less apparent. It was easier to forgive the script's shortcomings when it clearly leaves a lot of the answers for the later installments. The rest of your points are pretty valid, I think.
  14. It's time to voice some unpopular opinions! I'll put it all under the spoiler tag just in case.
  15. That was the most intense "Gokigenyou" I've ever heard. And I second Hein's Sakamoto vibes: it's just too bad he's not voiced by Midorikawa.
  16. Considering that arcade UNI got an update not too long ago, I'd be surprised if the tier list remained the same.
  17. We're still missing the Team K' trailer, too but since we've already seen all its members in action, it's not surprising you would forget about them.
  18. The gear system sounds really similar to the SFxT gem system, which means that it's either going to be completely irrelevant in competitive play, or that it's going to make the game impossible to play in offline tournaments. That said, Injustice 1 had more than enough problems of its own, so they should probably solve those before shaking things up even more.
  19. Her design really bugs me for some reason. It's like they couldn't decide between giving her the usual school uniform and a proper ninja suit, so they gave her both, even though that makes little to no sense. Basically, it would've been much better without those bracers.
  20. I can confirm that the game needs more GGX track versions. Maybe they'll realize that it doesn't even cost them anything to add them to the game sooner or later, even if it's just DLC.
  21. Yeah, I had to double-check, but Cross stands for Crossfire Wheel, the 360B command grab. Since there's no clear consensus on how to call it in the English-speaking community yet, I've decided to leave it as is.
  22. I'm a bit late, but I finally finished translating that oki write-up. Some of it needs double-checking in-game (especially the Capture break one), but most of it makes sense to me. http://pastebin.com/0FZSt8WT
  23. Remind me, why would you want to HK fireballs rather than just, you know, block them?
