WarHamster40K Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Zarithan: i agree with rei on the CH j.6C, that combos into lots of solviet dmg. when they're on the ground use 2B 2C xx AC etc. also, on some of the spark bolt bounces u tried to use 2C, i find myself that only works if ur not at full screen distance from the wall bounce. For that situation, use 5C 6A xx AC, if you're not at full screen the 2C works just fine from what i've found. also, after AC and they're on the ground and u go for 6C xx shot 2C AC, if they hit high on the 2C then they will be too high for an auto-connect on the AC, a nice trick to use there is to drop the AC quick to get a little pull toward u and start a 720. typically they will land right into your hand and eat solviet damage! I think i have a vid of where the stars aligned and i got that shit off... lemmie find it... AH HA! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8D7Y00li334 luckily, this has the example of the CH j.6C and well as the spark bolt example i was talking about. All in one nice little package! Against carl: Saw a random CH 6C when he IAd at you, AC his dumb ass on that shit, easy solviet dmg there. gotta pick up those random combos to keep up a lot. Same goes for a 5D, if that CHs then a Bsledge to 5C 6A xx AC or 2C xx AC will continue for more dmg. Nice job the the Nirvana knockout to get that spawrk bolt in on carl, u know he didn't c that shit coming :D Against Racheal: I like to do this, but it's pretty dangerous and u can eat a big combo, but... it has payed off for me and keeps them scared to rush u down. Anyway, when they come in with pumpkins and cannonballs flying, drop an Asledge, it'll eat all that dumb shit flying at you, and if they don't catch it fast enough, hit them during their rush down. If it CHs, then it's easy 3-4k dmg depending on magnet etc, but even if it's not CH u might be able to pull a combo out, and if nothing at all, u scared the piss outta them! On a general note: I liked that 720 buffer off the IB on Jin in the air for massive solviet dmg! Nice games! hit me up on PSN if u wanna play or w/e.
Zarithan Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 @rei Well , I just have 2 stop using collider on blocked 6C but it's kinda reflex gag :D (+ couple of times tried to buffer 720 but it just won't input especially with laggy games ) Regarding 5C-6C its quite wierd but many ppl crouch when block 5C and so it became almost a normal thing for me to connect 6C on it but ofc I gotta practice some more combos and situations @warhamster True my spark bolt combos sucks ( to lazy to practice with every character and hitbox) But when I get some extra free time from university I'll definitely get 2 learn it better And regarding your video , it made me scream like a N64 kid :D AC buffered into 720 , the look on the litchi player face was definitely priceless XD Btw , I forgot to upload this match http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEgzfLILMaA Tried to stop using 5C-6C (I did it only once and it landed as a CH XD ) and Collider on blocked 6C. For the first time missed on purpose 2C comming from spark bolt , cuz if anything landed on ragna with so low hp , he would've burst in the second of the hit so I wanted to do a grab move , just to be sure ^^ (otherwise he wouldn't let me spark bolt him so easily) Also I experimented with 5A-5B-5C-5D in the 1st round, but second time when tried it in round 3, controller didn't registered 5B nor 5C and it was 5A-Delay-5D 2nd round was pure rape ( tried to do instant IB and some other showoff moves and it didn't turned out well for me ) but I got back on track in round 3 ^^ And Rei , I'll add u on PSN because I BADLY need to practice against Bang (if u don't mind that is :D ) And ofc Hamster I'll add u on PSN so we can play ( I just love mirror matches , makes me lol every time when 2 Tagers fills up the screen ) Tnx for the advices , hopefully I'll use them well for THE POWER OF SCIENCE! :D
