please record only top 4 or something, with how its looking like, i'd say theres at least 15 people, so thats like at least 100 games. This tournament isn't going to even finish, let alone trying to record every single match. And I wouldn't even bother with commentating. For one thing, nobody is going to be wanting to commentate, and for another, nobody is going to say anything constructive. Only person I can think of that would even say anything constructive would be Leo, only if hes commentating alone, if hes paired with someone else (somehow find another person) then he'll end up being trolled by his commentating partner. Commentating is a waste of time if nobody has anything good to say, and nobody ever has anything good to say. If you insist on recording more than top 4 so that "people can watch themselves play and learn from it" then you should add in a system where each person can only record 1 or 2 of their matches or something. That way they can pick on specific matchups to learn about or just watch generic play. Watching yourself make the same mistakes for 14 games doesnt help, you only need to watch yourself make the mistake for 2 games (probably multiple times)

2012 just begun and I think Klaige already made the best post of 2012 Although one additional excuse: I think a major factor is also because 99% of the BB players i've ever met are also poverty/kids. Travelling to a tourney with no entrants is retarded if you're poverty. You practically need 1 tournament where every single player decides to go to make it worth while (and the money). But asides from that, everything else is super true. Kudos to LK making to EVO last year and ends up being in SUPER poverty because sparks stole his money XD To every other one of you who wasn't at EVO last year, stay home and stay free. Kinda happy BB isn't at EVO because now I don't have to spend 1k+ to go lol.

I've heard quite a few stories about people dropping BB because they didn't know there were people playing this game in montreal. These people do not leave their house and assume no 4 bar connection = no local MTL players. Eventually they are tired of playing laggy games and quit BB before they ever leave the house. They do not realize bad netcode is bad. Something like that needs to stop. Actually who am I kidding. The best players in MTL and Toronto end up being NAHs. Stay home guise

someone told me they cant even dash/airdash properly in BB and returned it. clearly BB A+B should be dash, and not FD at the end of the day, its just branding, umvc3 has a lot of "airdashers" elements in it and people who "hates airdashers" still play and love that game. in fact, me having to call games "airdashers" is already a silly sign. I swear kof is considered an "airdasher" even though nobody actually airdashes. airdasher = another word for "lesser played games"

the whole "exposure" thing at tourneys never work in theory its all nice and sounds logical, but it actually doesn't work lol. you want exposure? let me expose what "exposure" means for BB at a sf tourney "oh its BB" "lawl these guys" "lol dumb blob character killing the guy in 1 combo, what a dumb game" <------ as if this isn't the case in umvc3, infact, you kill 2 lol. they won't even bother coming over to look at the game really, BBs been around long enough to get "exposure". People has tried and given up, people who hasnt picked it up by now will never pick it up. Call me a bitter old man but being in fighting game community for 10+ years has taught me better. I actually give capcom games a try and end up joining 1 or 2 tournaments before I quit these boring games (for mahvel, i still join for lulz). but it never goes the other way around, I have never seen a single capcom player in any of our animu tourneys for over 10 years, and i do not expect life to change. Capcom FGs getting easier and BB getting more complicated doesn't help the situation either.

covering with 5C isn't so effective now that 5C CH doesn't stagger either =( you can still zone with CS2 because she recovers decently since you havent played, EX recovery is REALLY slow btw...
