Clashing ID with 5B you can gatling into 2B. If you are far enough and the Ragna mashes out another ID from clashing it will whiff.
-
Main problem people will have against Ragna as Rachel is that the Ragna will take rounds just by simply running in and not caring. Cover the ground before thinking about covering the air. You will definitely want pumpkin in this match-up for your approaches. His normals far outclass your normals.

Yo now that is gdlk. I want command center like that someday.

Those ranbats were so hype. Even had dubstep remix game audio. Nothing really much to do with BB lately. Getting ready for Anime Matsuri. Being a compsci student I spend my time doing some innane thing in a system. Dualscreens in unix systems are a pain but when things finally go your way... yeah :> http://i41.tinypic.com/33xym14.png

I'm going on in a couple. If I can't immediately join a room with a 2bar+ I'll probably just make one and camp.
-
Yeah I want to get another set with you sometime soon again. I have trouble with Ragna / Bang / Arakune right now.

You guys should look into Tari's post earlier a little closer but it seems a few of you figured it out.

@Toan: Yeah it was playable. GGs Dont_Explain. I can actually assess what kinds of problems you are having since I just went to two extremes of Ragna playstyles (SKD vs. yours). The difference between your Ragna and SKD's Ragna is that you are overly defensive whereas SKD only defends if he knows for sure he has lost momentum. The moments you choose to block sometimes are actually moments where you should be pressing the opponent and applying pressure to open them up. Finding a stable playstyle involves knowing when to weave in and out of offense and defense whilst minimizing losses that you may incur. (I'm having this exact problem against SKD's Ragna). You seldom did ID on wake-up. You have to prove to me that it's actually a threat (you are willing to do it) within a high probability. Otherwise I'm free to do meaty 5B and continue my onslaught of BS j.A IOH (which you ate numerous times). This also brings my other point. You don't take enough risks. Your pressure is weak. To me it looked like you tried to hit confirm a combo from a certain starter and then just autopiloted the rest of the combo as the blockstring. Actively think about what you want to do against your opponent. Go hi? Go low? Get some throws in there as well. I'm free to hold downback all day and just focus purely on looking for overheads. If you mix in throws into your pressure my attention gets divided and my defensive game becomes more difficult to uphold. Not only will I have to guess hi or low, I also have to guess if you are going to throw or not (thus, this opens up the opportunity for TRMs). These are the main points I can give to you from the set we just played. It's up to you to apply some of what I give you here. If you think your defensive game is something you can make work then by all means find the way. I will just point out that SKD beat me 20 games vs. the 4 games that I won and he played really aggressively. (There are other variables at work but that's beside the point). I really don't know much about Ragna. I can only point out what kinds of things he does that defeat me personally.

Sure. I actually just got finished with my university work. I'll make a room then. 1v1 is all I want recently. Play until you are too tired to think and then push yourself to make good decisions in that state.

I could only pick-up on the (somewhat universal) gold burst OS you did a couple of times. I should have expected it having baited both of your bursts prior to encountering that situation.
-
Oh and Ragna j.C is so good. I tried to do 6A as early as possible and it still gets beat. It's just not worth it at certain distances. I did learn some other small things though that I think I can apply better next time. The 8 - 2 figure I got from actually seeing the end result after our first 10 matches.
-
According to netplay, Ragna vs. Rachel is 8 - 2 Ragna favor! (went 4 - 20 against SKD's Ragna... BlazBlue indeed... LOL). If only my defense was any good. I want to press buttons too! I think this is where I went wrong.
-
It would be interesting if anyone actually decrypts that. Not difficult to do.
-
It's okay. Rachel vs. Bang is impossible online. That's my OS @DWB: Other Taokaka players that are on XDest's level? Good luck man. Make sure to use a Master Ball if you find them. On PSN it was Taoish and Harakiri_Tiger that I fought for Taokaka. Taoish doesn't seem to be around though.

Right after you left this drive spam Noel came in. Managed to Astral him and he RQ'd. But yeah as you can see my other characters are butt. I have no idea what their game plan is so I just do whatever. Casuals are for trying stuff out man. Netplay = Just Do It™

It helps to play cool characters GGs room goers. Really bored right now. Too laggy to play seriously.

I guess what I meant to say is that 5B 2D j.A isn't gapless on everyone. IOH j.A with pumpkin/frog is really good though. -

IOH j.A would be better if it worked on the whole cast. -
GGs people. Generic BGs to lag.

Yeah man the gameplay of XBLAZE that was shown in the video wasn't very good :<
