lol true, but being the young kid i was at the time the idea of a different style fighting game with different music was just plain awesome to me :D well that and I actually had time to play both fighting games at the time. ah...junior high. absolutely no worries or obligations to get in the way of playing. heavy rock versions are pretty good, IMO.

hmm...from GG and GGX only ones of the top of my head that stick out are.... Conclusion(GG obviously), Beyond the Dark Life(GG), No Mercy(GGX), Still in the Dark(GGX), Awe of She(GGX), only GGXX era ones that i particularly like are Keep the Flag Flying, Keep in Gates, and the Midnight Carnival. Guilty Gear's soundtrack was definitely ahead of it's time when it came out. Some of the music in there pretty much made me go "...the hell am I listening to third strike for?"

not gonna lie...I checked the forums like just yesterday at about 6-ish and saw this topic and went "HO-SHIZ!*pre-orders really fast*" Amazing stuff...makes me think about messing with photoshop again :]

Stick is definitely better overall. learning curve is kinda meh but it's worth it once you do learn it. The stick just improves performance overall. Not to mention all the things you can do to customize it :O Hell my buddy has his stick with light up buttons. it looks freaking awesome.

that would explain the sudden burst of people hopping onto blazblue and rotating that one day i was there o_o;;;

practice practice and more practice will fix it right up D: most people usually mod their stick with a different gate to make moves easier...most at least. but it just takes time, it's not something that can be easily adapted to...unless you're some kind of prodigy who was meant for stick all along :O

haha. but I still use ragna about as much as i use sol in GG...which is actually any time i don't feel like using ky... >_> off topic note: dude's one of my favorite VA's he just has an awesome voice :D

haha. mm...well how I picked my main in GG is almost like how I picked my main BB. basically in GG I saw ky and went ":O Lightning sword" but then I saw sol and went "....i dunno but he looks cool!" then I saw baiken and tried her out...decided to keep her and sol as a sub. Ky has a cool looking sword with lightning attribute...i like that :D I tried the same thing in BB. I do like jin because of his weapon and style but he just didn't seem to have what i was looking. I tried ragna because he has the same voice actor as gintoki from gintama...what can i say i like stupid things. he was okay but his style was kinda meh...I played hakumen once and instantly decided "don't care how hard he is to play i'm playing as him." sooo...technically my main and sub are the same guy...technically. >_>

ooh arcade ufo/austin area topic. me likey :D I went down there back in april last year, I enjoyed being able to play against someone else in GG on a cabinet for once :DDDDDD. just got back from austin not too long ago either...also.... you guys would have a tourney down there the week i get 40+ hours at work

believe it or not that has worked before *shame* now when I do it I'm usually timing out the clock :/
