Of course it won't get that kind of reception. It's a "this game is not for everyone" thing. It's a good game for a certain community, we're just not gonna see everyone showing that kind of love. Most anime/moe fans will have the curiosity to buy this game. A while ago, I said that I was curious when I saw AH1. It took me a while to get used to the moe and like the game. However, that was years ago. I see AH3, and clearly EXAMU wants the anime/otaku crowd along with the fighting game community. We should all know by now that it won't get the same reception it deserves unless you're one of the people who care about the game and not its "cover art." Besides that, America likes masculinity. Why else would most people like Tekken or SF4? Whether or not I'm staying on topic, these things are clear. "Opinions are opinions." Don't like the sidebars? Turn em off. You like the sidebars? Fine then. You like the sidebars but don't wish to show them to your friends? Your choice. You want to show the sidebars for the lolz? Your choice. I think we're done here.

Black borders I'd be better off with. I can already tell what my college buds would say when they see me play this WITH the borders. I'd do it anyway just for the lolz, but for the sake of enjoying the fighting, hence why it's a "fighting game," the sideborders can get distracting. For the Japanese though, they'll have it easy, but that's stating the obvious.
