Another question, I've seen players like OSCA do all sorts of dive loops (with the wall splat), is there any reason you guys preferred not to list them in the OP ? Are they too character specific / unreliable / less dmg? They seems to be really useful off random hits like AA 5p or some jump normals.

I can't see to connect any follow up from the j.D > VCL combos stated in the first page.. what's the secret for doing them? I also can seem to connect anything from a close VCL (i tried it from I-no's dash and from standing). Please help

For reason I can't jump install.. I'm trying to jump install in the following : CH j.S dash 5p 5s i input 9 and SJ right away - this didn't work for me I was also trying this (I remember that's how i used to JI with anji and HOS): CH j.S dash 5p 9 5s sj motion In the combo once i SJ i can't do the double jump despite inputting the extra jump cancel. What am I doing wrong?

I have to correct myself regarding that statement, simply because the format there is confusing and I didn't see all of the variations for certain starters. By the way, on some combos ending with j214X your wrote that 5D is a legit followup. I think mostly people can punish Yu summoning the 5D or at least hit him out of hit and stay safe. Any thoughts about that? I got the game for couple of days and mastered most of the stuff, but I don't have it to check that out (god damn EU version)

To tell you the truth, the list is a little overwhelming. And some of these combos are far from optimal. And it's a little bit annoying to read it :/ i hate this sort of 'connecting the dots format' I think the combo list should point core concepts of Yu's combos and how hit stun deterioration effects each followup. Then, people will be able to grasp his combos and work with that.

This combo works perfectly against Chie.. I think this combo is pretty universal... I'd recommend omitting the 5B in the combo since usually it will push the opponent too far for the 5DD to hit.. 2a 2b(2hits) 5DD is enough for the hitconfim anyways.

Regarding the combo: 5B > 2B > 5C > 214C > 5A > 5C > 2C > (delay) 214B > 5B > 2B > j.C > j.214A > 5AAA How in the hell do you connect the 5B after 214B ? they opponent jumps way too high to catch him with 5B, I can do a 1 hit 2B but with no other followup. Tips?

Seems like Japanese players won't use 5D oki against Teddie since his R-Action (I think it's sort of a counter move) hits the persona and keeps him safe.. I wonder if there's a way to punish it, too bad I need to wait for the EU version.

All I can say is.. be patient, try to outsmart you opponent and try baiting his DP :S

This match probably got from 5-5 in cs2 to 6-4 in platinum's favor. All the buffs platinum got reward her so much against lambda. Platinum's items were already great against lambda, and with the new buffs they are even more effective. This is still whoever gets the momentum will most likely to win. However, Platinum's movement speed and long range normals allows her to get to Lambda in a split second. Making lambda be more patient about throwing swords all day long. The 236a special with projectile invincibility nullifies completely Lambda's attempts to cheap you out with ground swords(I have no idea about the motion/name of the move but w/e) because you pass it like a boss now. Another cool thing i figured with this move, If you wanna bait lambda from doing her reversal super on wake up. And you also don't want her to RC it in case it gets blocked, on the super flash input the pogo motion and you will travel throw the super to punish as you like. Cat, bombs, frying pan, missiles and are my favorite for this match up (in that order).
