I'm not so sure about this thread. VA preference is a very volatile inflammatory kind of subject that usually doesn't end very well.

BlazBlue: Remix Heart & Variable Heart Discussion
Tokkan replied to churchblue's topic in Zepp Museum
If popularity determined who became playable, Kokonoe would've been playable back in CS and Jubei would also be playable by now. Hmmm, actually the weird thing is by your logic with fanart, Celica wasn't really all that popular until she got a boost from both the Drama CD/Manga bonuses for the portable versions of CSII and her VA's appearance on BuruRaji. Kazuma was actually more popular than her fanart-wise back in the day. -

Yeah, from what Sumeragi is saying on twitter (a long the lines of "the climax is near"), it does appear to coming close to ending. If not within the next 2 chapters (which would complete volume 4) then definitely within the next 8 (for 5 volumes total). It also appears that she hopes for Mai to become playable in the games one day. -
Is it just me or was BBCP's localization job rather sloppy?
Tokkan replied to Jotamide's topic in Zepp Museum
Oh, Momokaka (in the Library she's just called "Momo") is just a character they name dropped and hinted at a future appearance of. That's probably not appropriate discussion for this thread. -

Eh, it's not really an incorrect use since scrub can be used as basically another word for "runt" (when used to refer to a person) and that doesn't count as a slang definition. It is certainly weird because as gamers we're all familiar with the slang definition. -

Oh, you don't have to worry. Aksys is in charge of XBlaze's localisation. -
BuruRaji D - BlazBlue Radio Discussion [The new season!!]
Tokkan replied to kosmos badgirl's topic in Zepp Museum
Most likely not, aside from maybe some Yahoo auctions. It's supposed to be an exclusive item available only at Nico Nico Chokaigi 3. -

Oh, it gets better. Turns out they're the same people who designed the Arc System Works USA website. And here's their own website. Don't be fooled by the fact it doesn't say a thing about Chronophantasma, their leader Mike McNamara is credited in BBCP's console credits under localisation. -
BuruRaji D - BlazBlue Radio Discussion [The new season!!]
Tokkan replied to kosmos badgirl's topic in Zepp Museum
Remake of the first episode, on DVD. It's being sold at Nico Nico Chokaigi later this month. It will feature an audio commentary. There's also going to be a live special episode at Nico Nico Chokaigi called "Cho Bururaji A ~Haru~". And it's going to be streamed. -

Yes, in this game. But not in Extend, which was what I was referring to. Edit: I did some digging and found that ASW didn't handle localisation directly; they outsourced to a company called "Strangely Compelling". -

Here's some bad localisation: Every character pronounces "Amanohokosaka" like it's two separate terms as "Amano Hokosaka", but the text reads it as one term. This is almost like in Extend where it was "Claudius" in the text when the characters were clearly saying "Clavis" or how the text also said "Glassfield" but there clearly was no audible "D" sound on the end (making it sound more like "Glassfeel"). -
Sorry, I don't. Only those 2 plus the short version of Heavy Day have been officially put up on Animelo mix.

BlazBlue: Remix Heart & Variable Heart Discussion
Tokkan replied to churchblue's topic in Zepp Museum
Kurushii released the chapter so I can look at it in more detail. Seifer's plans for this chapter was to use everyone (minus Shiori and Chacha) as sacrifices in an alchemic reaction that forces them to use ars magus. This would allow him to merge the fragments of Azure in Mai's heart and take it for himself by becoming an Azure Soul. To that end, he put Mai into an "eternal sleep". His device was also suppressing Mai's ability to talk, BTW, so he took pleasure in telling Mai all about his plans before putting her to sleep. Seifer's plan has now failed because: 1. Jin, Taro and Akane managed to escape the alchemic barrier, which opened a hole for Shiori and Chachakaka to enter. Chacha stopped the reaction and then used the Ammit Cryas to spill the beans on Mai's identity (Jin, Taro and Akane weren't able to reenter the barrier and thus weren't able to see this reveal). 2. "NoName" woke Mai up from her supposedly eternal sleep, proceeded to complete the fusion with Mai because Mai's desire to protect everyone gives her resolve to want power. And yes, I'm in agreement that could possibly mean that the First Law of Genderbending is now in effect and Mai is now permanently a girl. -

Chapter 22... they all find out that Mai was a man and a Hazuki in this chapter (except Jin, Taro and Akane, they got left out). Mai became a woman because she merged with the "Nameless Grimoire" (called "NoName" in the furigana). Apparently the "Existence with a Name" (Mai) was in some unfortunate circumstances so NoName made Mai its vessel to extend his (Mai, at the time) life. However, a Grimoire's vessel can only be female, so it transformed Mai's body into that of a girl. After declaring she wants power, Mai and the Nameless Grimoire have completed their fusion and Seifer's device is broken. -
Higher resolution? I can read that text fine. It says: "E S Lambda No. 11"

Remember that in arcades, Extend was called "Continuum Shift II 1.10" (CSII1.1). Extend was just the name for the home console version.

That won't actually improve the localisation but it will kill any chance of further localisation. -
Fun Fact: The person who writes Remix Heart, Deko Akao, is also female (and an ex-JPop-singer, and "Deko Akao" isn't even her real name). And she's also the one who wrote Alter Memory.

Volume 3 has a release date: 9th of May, which is about when I was expecting it. Front cover is Mai and Tsubaki in their summer uniforms, back cover is Shiori (in winter uniform), Chachakaka, Seifer, Carl (in summer uniform), Relius and Hazama. Edit: -
Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)
Tokkan replied to Hecatom's topic in Under Night In Birth
It's not an official April Fool, it was put together by a fan called Yusano. So I doubt it. -
It's like that in the original Japanese version, too. With regards the Tutorials, in the explanation of Stylish the voices say "Normal" but the text says "Medium" for the N button.

Okay, I heard Nine's voice. She sounds almost exactly like Sully from Fire Emblem Awakening so I'm guessing she is indeed voiced by Amanda C. Miller. So in recap, new NPC voices are as follows: Celica: Carrie Savage Nine: Amanda C. Miller Hibiki: Steve Staley (? I think? Sounds a hell of a lot like him) Just need to hear Homura.
