I'm unwilling to call Madhouse "quality" after their work on Chaos;Head. Sorry. I can't see it being Gonzo unless this show is coming next year, they're still in deep financial problems and they're already stretching themselves too thin by working on 3 shows this year.

I think the licensing for use of the CT and CS1 openings got kinda complicated when KOTOKO left Geneon for Warner.

Weird thing is Tsubaki was already freed of the Imperator's control by the time Noel (as Mu) would fight Tsubaki (as Izayoi). Also, strange thing I noticed when watching the new videos of Blood Pain II and the Valkenhayn VS Relius theme, they appear to have corrected the stage info so their locations match what is listed in the CPMC. So Snow Town is now in Akitsu-A rather than just plain Akitsu and Halloween's location is now correctly "the Castle of ALUCARD" instead of incorrectly being stated as being in Kagutsuchi. When did they make those changes? It's cool that they did.

http://www.arcsystemworks.jp/official/event/ There is a countdown timer on the official ArcFes site. It has a BlazBlue style background. A quick look in the page source code says the timer is counting down until 8PM May 19, which is actually when ArcFes ends. Interesting, to say the least.

Well sure, but it's only the Nox that are explicitly stated as having an affect on the psyche.

I don't think the Izayoi can affect her in that way though. Noxes affect people's psyches because they themselves have their own souls, and they have their own souls because they're powered using souls as a catalyst. The Izayoi doesn't use souls as a catalyst, it uses "Light" so I doubt it has a soul of its own.

Not sure where you heard that. I don't think we're going to get anything close to gameplay footage until ArcFes on the 19th of next month.

No, because the Mind Eater spell on her is broken by Jin. But that happened offscreen and is only mentioned in Rachel's and Izayoi's arcade modes.

But her personality has not changed, and her objectives only changed after fighting with Hakumen and Mu. In fact, it's the regular Tsubaki that has the "Not Tsubaki" personality in CP.

Tsubaki IS Izayoi (the person). Izayoi (the weapon) has no opinion, it cannot think for itself.

Her fight with Makoto technically never happened due to a time-reset (thank you Amaterasu and Takamagahara), else Makoto would be dead by now. Her fights with Hakumen and Mu takes place after she's been freed from the Imperator's control, though they do help in her decision on what she should fight for. Also, Tsubaki's definition of justice hasn't really changed since being freed, she just now fights for her friends instead of the NOL (which she now considers unjust). Though she has taken to acting like a superhero, complete with hammy dialogue about "JUSTICE JUSTICE JUSTICE".

She's not evil in Rachel's arcade mode.

Um, sort of? Tsubaki being freed from the Imperator's control happens after she became Izayoi. Furthermore, it happens off-screen and we aren't told anything more than "Jin did it".
