GGs Toan and Litherain. I was actually trying to play the match up. I didn't get bored, I just made dumb mistakes or you did something you weren't supposed to and I got hit by it. I've had my salt levels come up way too much in the past couple of days and it's making me think if I should probably move Jin to sub status. I just can't win with him. My Mu does much better than him now, and I'm sure it's because she's a dumb character but it sucks because I put so much time into Jin. I can truly see the limitations he has now and it is bad, this may be the salt getting to me but man this is getting annoying.

I'm just trying to mess around with Mu today, if you're up to it I have an open room, just join up.

So, Legend of Dragoon is on the PSN store now, and it's only 6 buck. That is going to kill the disc value of any copies out there.

Most Vizios have a bad rep for lag, which is why most places in the Midwest ban Vizios from being at tournament venues. They may be better now but people still complain about them. I thought it was fishy until I played on one at my friends house, I had to stop because of the major input delay on that HDTV. Trust me, it has gotten that bad but that's what you get. Cheap HDTV = Cheap product.

Today I got the motivation to buy an Xbox 360 of my own instead of pawning off of my roommates. I will be a true 360 owner/user as of 9:30PM tonight. I won't be on it today due to homework but expect to see me netplaying on XBL a lot more. EDIT: Class was cancelled today. Headed back with the 360 now.

I'm using this combo with the gimmick I told you guys about and the max damage I can get off of it is 3.9K... I'm trying to find a way to reach the 4k bubble. So far, this is what I have: (Close to Mid-Screen to the corner) 6B > RC > AD j.b (Confirm to hit) > j.2c > Dash > 5c > 6c > Dash > 5c > 6c > 623c > 5b (hit twice) > 5c > 2c > hj.d > (land) 5b > 5c > 3c > 214a > 623a = 3900 Damage If anyone can add on to this or reach 4k, that would be great. Too tired, I'm going to bed.

Why are you playing bkrdave? He's West Coast. I do not try to stress myself with that, even though he's good (I'll admit) I'm just not down with his connection. Yeah, I saw it. It was pretty well done if you ask me. Voices weren't off and the English VA's were on point.

Yeah, you can do this. It's pretty cool if you ask me. I thought I mentioned this over a month ago though. I see where you're coming from, but most people blocking a string hace a habit to block 214B standing so its chances of hitting someone in a string is not so high (but I'm sure it's possible). While using a block string, people usually have a habit to crouch block 6B so your chances to hit the opponent with RC > IAD > j.B > etc... are higher. I'm just adding the probability of success in this, I may be thinking too deep into it but thats how I get into the combo theory when I play.

The list has been updated. Also, make sure you guys have a guaranteed way to receive the funds. If you place top 3, I really don't want to hear "Oh I forgot to set up a PayPal" or "Man, I can't use a P.O. Box to receive my money order?". If you place in the top 3 and after the tournament is over, you do not have a way to receive payment, you will not receive your winnings.

Well, I'm happy to note that my crouch-bait combo still works: 6b (oh wow, they're crouching!) > RC > 66 j.b > j.2c > stuff... I used this since CT and it's gotten me over a lot of matches when I pull it out. I just thought I'd share one of my personal gimmicks with you guys to contribute to this thread. *Off to class*

Now that you've mentioned that it does sound do-able. Never posting on dustloop that late ever again...

eQualz is right Minoru, the first hit in Jin's 623.D freezes the opponent so that j.D in this combo will not freeze the opponent and I'm sure there's not enough hitstun from j.D that allows you to finish this combo. I'll try it out anyway to see if I'm wrong though. EDIT: eQualz was right, this combo does not work. the j.D kills the entire combo because he was already frozen. Were you trying for something else instead bro, that could have been the case.

It was cool. I saw the premiere of the English Dub of Panty and Stocking, that was done well, no complaints on my end. Also I met Woocash and Pharaoh there and got some really good matches in with them. I saw Eyeshine perform live, they were OK. I also got a few others to add my PSN/XBL tag so they can play me since most of them were from out of town. I almost got my copies of BB stolen by the guys running the con until I called them out and they gave me my games back. There were no issues after that though. Overall, it was a great experience and I enjoyed almost every minute of it.

Your PS3 overheated again? I'm guessing you have the old model of the PS3. On another note: I remember fighting you once, that was a fun match and I was surprised we had a 3 connection. GG and we should try playing again if you get your PS3 back up

WTH you're right! How could I have forgotten about that? @ Jourdal: You're probably right, Jin has been up and down every game. Honestly, I would just love to have j.B back because that move was really silly. But Ragna wasn't bad in CS2, Granted Jin was better in CS2 than Ragna... but still, Ragna wasn't that far off IMO. Then again, this could be my personal match up experience against Ragna getting in the way of my judgement.

LOL not gonna happen. We had our moment back in CT: Shake out of Frostbite (Free BlackBeats for those who couldn't combo) and a GDLK j.B (Stupid combos because of this, I miss this so much ), there was more but those were the most important of all the dumb shit we had.
