I'll make it work, I usually do. I do see your point but I like doing things that will cater to my style. If it seems out of whack, I'll find a way to make it work and become effective, but that's just me, it might not work for everyone that way.

The bold is the truth, it even happens in CS2. Calling out a Jump Out as tager shouldn't be a problem especially if you're at the advantage, the opponent's doesn't want to be on the ground with Tager that close to them. Hell, I would have jumped out myself and got caught depending on the situation.

I really like Ronitta's style of play and might have to take a few things from him when BBCS:EX is released on Consoles. Speaking of which, I need to order that when I get my paycheck since I can't go t NEC now...

I'll admit that Tsubaki was pretty impressive in the clutch. Jin looks so stylish in this installment, why does he seem boring to you guys? Maybe it's me but I just don't see it.

Then again, the game just came out and this list is probably going to change once people get their characters down. I'm not switching characters, I'll play Jin no matter what. Don't worry, I'll be on the XBOX sometime soon and rape the leaderboards there too, even with the handicap of playing stick! It wont be day one when I get the BOX version but I'll have it sometime soon, believe that!

@ Jourdal Shen/Kensou/Leona with '99 Kyo and Vice as my OS characters. Leona might not cut it on the main team because the console nerfs on XIII completly ruined her game (Frame Traps). With all her slicer moves even more negative on block, it's now become a game of attack precision with her. I can manage that but to change Leona's style of play this late in the series is gonna hurt a lot of Leona players. At least I'll have '99 Kyo to swap her out if things are that bad. Kensou's new style impressed me in the "KOF game that never existed" and I was really feeling the changes, and now that they expanded from that he has went from a beast to a monster! I am loving what they did to him in XIII and I won't complain especially now that it feels he has a real fighting style this time around. I've been roling with Shen Woo since 2003 when he was shit-tier and people in my scene feared him when I was on the stick and he was on the screen. It was funny to hear "You actually play this shitty character?" then it changes to "WTF my tream got bodied by one of the worst characters in the game!" And in XI he was better, no need to get into that and even with the few tweaked nerfs he got in the console version of XIII (which are fair, though I don't agree with them), he is still a freaking monster. My subs are veteran characters that I won't have an issue relearning just in case I run into zoners or heavy hitting characters that Vice and '99 Kyo can handle by swaping out Leona and possibly Kensou. I'm ready for this game Tuesday and I can't wait to put my hands on the game again!

@ Jourdal LOL, I see what you did there! In that aspect, you could say it's similar. EDIT: I also saw a link to KOF XIII netplay today, and from what the player is describing is that it's good but not awesome, it's a lot better than XII's and it's save system is similar to that of BlazBlue. The test was done from Virginia to Florida which is a decent distance to do a test, unlike what they did for XII's patch which was literally from 1 city to another in the same state...

Yuushiro, you're on topic, someone asked and it's a General Thread after all LOL. Though we speak in this thread as of there is a Topic but I guess it's because we're all self organized. When one person jumps on one subject all of us tend to jump on it and move on when something else interesting is mentioned. One of the reasons I enjoy this thread especially when it becomes active.

IIRC, it was something about rights only to provide KOF games to Microsoft. That's why we only have 99 on PSN since we got that game before it took effect, then we got the older adaptions after that license was up. Sadly with the release of XIII on the way, they don't want to release 2002 UM on PSN now.

I'm pretty much in the same collection wise too: 94-98 (Orochi Saga) '98UM, 00-01, 02-03, XI, Maximum Impact, MI:II (2006) and MI:Reg A for the PS2 99 from PSN (Had it for PSX before I got jumped for it as a kid...) 02UM for XBL XII for the PS3 (My Coke coaster ATM...), and XIII fully paid off for the PS3 I am overly hype for XIII and shtkn and Solex is making me feel a little better about CS:EX Jin as well. If those guys don't mind the changes, I'm sure I'll like him too.

I've been playing Jin since CT and I feel that I'm OK with him. I know I am nowhere near JP level but I feel that I can hang with some of the best in the US. I always find myself wanting to get better and striving for it so in the end, you can say that I'll never find myself proficient with my main. Then again... Jin main's can't really say they are proficient with their character since every update of the game he has drastic changes so that we have to re-learn him again LOL!

Which is funny because alcohol is supposed to make your equilibrium off balance and things are supposed to be worse, but these guys get better; how is that? Weird right? Either way, I have been getting bored of BlazBlue as of late, maybe because Extend has been released and KOF XIII is coming out Tuesday. KOF XIII possibly might make me drop BB overall and for some reason everyone in the MI scene has been freaking out about it. I mean, The King Of Fighters is the series that introduced me to fighting games so is it wrong for me to want to stay loyal to what I've always been interested in?

Solex speaks the truth, I fought Huey both sober and buzzed, it's a completely different ball game fighting him. Heck my old roommate couldn't play COD w/o being buzzed and it was obvious in the difference in play styles LOL! Sadly I am not one of those guys.

Here's the thing; I know the combos you're talking about, but I have a habit to drop shit that is not easy for me. Also to add on the fact that playing online changes the timing of things. I stated doing 5B DP loops because at the time of our matches, I wasn't comfortable using them but I'm getting better at it now. I tend to go for easier combos that I have a better chance of landing instead of the higher damaging combos that I might drop and get punished for. But you're right, I should try practicing them a bit more so I can get used to them and it would help to have them completely down before NEC. Thanks for the input bro, for real, you're one of the few Jin players that have helped me out as of late.
