  1. Yes that's a typo as far as I can tell. I'd assume 3C based on what follows.
  2. You can do it off the first IppatsuA. No need for a 2nd IppatsuA.
  3. Litchi is one of few characters with multiple combos on the sheer fact that her position and the opponent's position matter in a very high level of detail. If you only wanna learn 2-3 combos, she's not the one to play.
  4. Yes, you can parry bugs. If the Kune is close, you'll even get the stun off. Great for button flailing kunes during curse mode, since bad bugs = free stun, and any time you can kill during curse is great.
  5. AsteroidC has surprisingly good height. It will clear spikes cleanly as long as you don't do it too early or late. Ideally you clear opposite side. 3C is good if you can be unpredictable with it. Honestly, this isn't CT and this isn't Nu. Don't feel super rushed to get in, sometimes she'll come in for you. If she doesn't, well, MAGIC BALLS. Great for everything but 4D. Magic ball will stop spikes on contact point. Magic ball should be Makoto's go to for hard to approach play styles. L3 cue shots get you free armor breakers, so score an armor break and you get a free approach and/or combo.
  6. When practicing combos, it's highly suggested you practice against Hazama, Lambda, or Carl, because of hit box issues. I use Hazama by default, if it works on him, it'll work on anyone.
  7. Throw a 5B before 5C? I assume this is a jump in approach.
  8. Thanks a lot. I felt like there would be times where 6B would and wouldn't work based off my experience with it, so I was hoping for someone with more insight on the issue to confirm it. On a side note, Litchi took me to the Otakon tournament and won it for me. Grats to me playing like to a tool. ITSUU LOOPS FOR LIFE.
  9. 3C requires you to be predictive and not overly active with it to be good. He can 3C you back into BnB if he can react to it. Other than that, yeah, Mak's 3C will clear under 5D snakes all day. Magic ball cancels with snake, you won't hit Haz when he comes in if the ball clashes with the snake. Don't mess up drive swings, mistiming will gets you eating DAS BOOT if he has meter. Stay grounded. If he tries to approach you with snake chains, just DP, Parry, 5A or block. If he's baiting you with stance to come in, ball up and shoot it in. You can GIGANTIC FIST him from snakes.
  10. If Bang attempts to maintain pressure by jumping and crossing you up, you can parry him and counter. If he's ranging and daggers in order to get in, your magic ball will protect you. Don't feel rushed to get in, but don't let him lay a thick level of pressure on you either. IBing matters, it will free you for a parry mid string. jC actually beats his 5A at a good angle. As always watch the aggression. D happy Bangs should be grabbed into BnB, or baited into eating a parry.
  11. I can help you with notations. Just ask me, send me an AIM or personal message or whatever. I'm currently toying with Mak right now so I'm not currently in any matches.
  12. How do you counter blocked chains with free combos, like what do you use specifically to start into BnBs? 5A? 2A? 2C? A little more elaboration would be nice as I tend to sometimes get CH when I attempt to retal on blocked chain to approach.
  13. Yeah, jump anything gets beat by his 5A. If you recover over him, dropping on him with a JB and JC just gets you reset into another Bang combo. Best to try to get distance and poke away at him. If he's got you netted with pressure, you need to IB parts of his string to counter, especially if he tries to reset with IA nails. If you're quick about it, you can poke him out of the chop overhead (6C?) with a 2A as well, which is a lot easier than blocking it and then trying to predict the high/low that can follow (both lead to Bang BnB). Overall this is a strong match up to showcase whether or not you can IB well. If you can, this match up isn't really special, if you can't, this match is rough. Does J2D beat 5A? Haven't tried it.
  14. I'm not certain what you mean when speaking in the ways of Marvel (QCFs, HCBs, things like that?) but if you are having problems executing something I can at least try to get you a visual of what it should look like and put it online for you to reference. Otherwise I can do my best to answer questions of what I know.
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XPy4LsM0oI There's your combo. I assumed this was a midscreen combo since you were opting to JB JC after 2D. Also, LK, St1ck, lunaris or anyone else, any answer about my 6B vs 2C[M] question?
  16. You mean the opponent is teching between ItsuuA (hit1) and ItsuuA (hit2)? Strange, but this may be a side effect of you doing something earlier that isn't specific to the string. Things like putting 2A/5A into the string before WILL affect the proration of the combo. Some things you can do with a 5B opener you cannot do with a 2A 5B of the same thing. Either that, or you're trying to do one too many ItsuuA loops in whatever combo you're doing. Can you put down what you're trying to do specifically?
  17. What 2D combos are you struggling with in particular? If you let me know which ones I can clip them and give you a good visualization.
  18. After j.BC, what happens? I assume the Staff2 hits, because that whiffs only because the opponent is too low. Then it's possible that you're either hitting 6C too soon or not soon enough. Keep in mind you can start 6C slightly early and let the Staff2 hit put them into your 6C animation. Also keep in mind that Staff2 hits do not recover immediately, so you can actually delay the input slightly. I apologize if I'm patronizing you, because I'm not trying to. I'm seriously trying to tap into what knowledge of CS Litchi you have, because as far as I know, you easily have tons more experience with her than me. I'm just trying to do my best to soak up everything I can possibly squeeze out of you in terms of information so I can ramp up and get solid with her ASAP. I did Hatsu instead of Haku, and was able to cover it to full screen, so thanks for that. Also, is there any negative benefit to using 6B instead of 2C[m]? As far as I can tell, no repeat penalty like a 6C, but it is a tighter link than 2C[m]. Does it not work at certain points in some combos that 2C[m] would? 6B itself also does more damage than 2C[m] so it would be the better of the two in the damage option. I'm gonna pass out early tonight because I gotta wake early for Otakon tomorrow, but thanks for your help so far. Also, when I get back I want to post 3(Full, Mid and Corner) 4D combos because I'm interested in working on that, so if you don't have any you'd like me to post as examples I'll just wing a few until I see something I like.
  19. So Bang is mashing A. What do you do?
  20. Litchi's top tierness requires a lot of time and skill to play. Most will stick to Ragna/Jin Also I main her because she is my stripper. And when Makoto comes out, she will be my hooker. Which makes me a pimp daddy as far as I can tell.
  21. Yeah, less 6C is better, but certainly not internet friendly since 6B itsuuA transition is not as lenient on the timing. Also, anyone got 4D combos I should make clips of, or should I just refer to the earlier posts for those 4D combos. Edit: Any combos after a 2B[m] 6B[m] Ryuiisou start up that people use? If not I think I'll investigate those next after I get some 4D combos down.
  22. Since it was a big deal, I've gone and noted that the combos posted are not the best. I posted damage and meter for viewing at least. Also, your example posted above: 5b 5c 3c itsuuC [d] dash j.c ]d[ staff1 haku chun staff2 6c(1) itsuuA 4kote dash 3c 2d staff1 dash j.b j.c dash 6c 6d daisharin(kokushi ender also possible off of 6c(1) Doesn't hit FULL full screen, but like 95% full screen. The staff2 on the second set barely misses on most the cast (though I'm sure on some it will nick them while they're down). I've posted both the success and the full screen shortly, but even with hitting the dashes and adding some delays on some moves here and there, I still can't get it. Success: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtUgJkv_mxI Failure: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpvFEL3KYbQ Edit: Any examples of midscreen and corner ItsuuC you want me to throw out there? Edit2: Because I am seriously listening to your suggestions, here's an improvement of 200 damage on the corner combo. Not your ideal, but getting there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alLolSYGJAI
  23. I'm not discouraged at all. I realize I'm really, REALLY lacking CS experience. 6C is a lot easier for me to execute consistently right now, and that's really what I try for now since dropping combos is worse than just taking a less damaging one. And yeah, it's a 9 jump instead of the 8 in the vid. I was having an easier time catching the falling C with a 9 over an 8. Again, lack of experience. If anything, being critical shows I still got work to do. Just as long as the "OMG WTF UR DOING RETARD" don't come, I got no problem with feedback. On a side note, I'll work on some of the ItsuuC stuff tonight since I want to try it out over SJ Chun.
  24. I'm starting to work on learning combos, so I've been recording clips of combos while I practice in my youtube channel. So far I have two grab combos, and the Fio standard with Fio's Koukushi Musou pressure reset. If anyone wants to request certain combos, please feel free to ask. I'll do my best to make it, on top of getting the chance to learn it.
  25. I watched some of what Fio would do as well, he'd IB chain and if Hazama tried to force his way in, he's CH 5A into strings on occasion to keep him honest. He's certainly something new for me to learn as I adjust to CS. I experimented with CPU 100 and saw how stupidly good Hazama's antiair options are against any jump ins, so I'll keep it grounded for the most part. Yeah I threw too many 6B[m] in the fight, but again, it's the experience factor. Is there enough time for me to counter his stance overhead with something if I do not IB it, or must I IB it in order to get a solid counter punish out of it (a la Jin car in CT). Also, if I can predict it, can I solidly interrupt his stance overhead with a 2A consistently? I managed to knock him out of the move a few times with 2A so I don't know if it was just a fluke or if it really worked.
