  2. Bedman Does anyone have any info on how he works? From the recent vids you can see that he places symbols on the screen. Spirals, arrows etc. I've seen shadow versions of the bed come out of the symbols and do attacks. He has multi hitting air normals, some kind of air delay/airdash stalling move, he can throw the head of the bed out as a projectile and it returns. Anything you've noticed or can decipher? Any write ups about him already online? --- Found this: Forward and back dashes seem to be teleports like slayer. Has a static looking visual effect like TV static. Has a projectile (throws that crown ball) and then he can summon it back and it hits on way back. Can do in air and ground. Can air dash 8 ways (think marvel) and cancel into normals and specials quickly Lots of long range normals Has spinning tornado spike top move that does many hits and travels forward. Knocks down Has move where he flips and spins in the air From the ground in an arc and lands on opponents head. Can use déjà I to “store” the move so that if he does it again a phantom image of him comes out and does it leaving him to do other stuff. I think it’s a projectile but not sure. Can probably use déjàvu in same way with other specials His IK mode comes super fast and he can easily use it to kill dizzied opponents! Seems super cheap. Has a super that comes out rally fast. If hits, the screen turns all colored tv bar static like and a big palm flashes over the screen. Seems to dizzy easily but I dunno if its automatic. Has another super that is a good reversal. Exploding alarm clock animation that has a blast that hits all around bedman. Seems to be able to teleport right next to opponent if projectile hits but probably has some condition for it. Can set seals on the screen. 3 kinds. I think one is for proj, one for flip move, one for spinny tornado. I think it indicates déjàvu is activated for each move At least Bedman seems to have low hp So ill explain more about Bedmans cheap super. Shadow beast is summoned at the far corner away from bedman behind opponent. Slowly moves forward. Touch the beast and get hit. Unblockable and very high chance of dizzy state and that means you are done. IK is too good. Bedman has four basic specials, a boomerang projectile, a projectile plus teleport, tornado charge, and a rising bedslam. Each special move leaves a symbol where that move was used. Bedman can then make a phantom Bedman perform the same move from that spot.

  5. Cheers. Was learning this last night, getting the 2D release at the tail end of the 5C before you jump cancel it is tight. Also the 4D hitting after j.C is strict too. But I got it down 80%, just need to practice it more. Does anyone have any other (less tight) BnB combos off 5B, 6B ?? And what are people using when they start a combo in the corner? Full notations would be massively appreciated.

  7. Can anyone post what Carls BnB is in BBEX now? Mid screen and corner combos. Also any notable changes to his overall gameplan since the last version (certain moves/normals to spam or most useful mix ups etc). Really appreciate any help you can give. Thanks.
  8. Oh shit I missed that out. Yeah: 6B as it lets you hit them closer to the ground giving Carl more height above the opponent. Thanks Isuyaru, I'll give them a go. Are there any other different BnB combos though after 5B, 6B, 623C, 22D? ----------- Also, last question: If I land 5B, 5C, 6D in the C-O-N position what's his best follow up combo? 5B, 6B, 623C into...?

So the BnB of: 5B, 6B, 623C, 22D, 6B, sj.B, j.2C, 421D, j.B, dj.B, j.2C, j.C, volante hits, 5C, sj.B, j.2C, j.B, dj.B, j.C The part I have bolded seems to not work properly on Tao/Noel/Rachel/Tager/Arakune/Mak. The second j.2C always wiffs on those characters unless i landed the initial sj.B really high which is tight as fuck. So does anyone have any tips with this or is there another BnB I can do after 5B, 6B, 623C, 22D that does good damage with good oki??? Thanks for any help.

  11. Ah right, just a mish mash of old and new stuff in alternate threads. I already learnt CS1 Carl I was just hoping for a compiled thread with his CS2 strats/changes and combos. Just a few questions: 1. Does anyone have the notation for his mid screen volante combo? I'm currently doing 5B, 6B, 623C, 22D, 6B, j.B, j.2C, 421]D[, j.B, dj.B... But the volante takes a while so I imagine I need another j.2C in there somewhere? I tried it at the end of what I listed there but it never hits due to the height. 2. After a combo into 236236]D[ and I land a reset mid way through what is the best combo to do with Carl after the wall bounce? I'm doing 5C, sj.B, j.2C, j.B, dj.B xx Alegretto 3. When you land 2C, 8]D[ what are the best combos in that situation? I used to do the j.2C, j.C, 2]D[ stuff but I'm not sure what I shuold be doing now? Thank you.

With brief descriptions of each normal/special move and what makes them good/bad and also combos with/without meter/nirvana and corners etc. Would be greatly appreciated. For the time being could someone please list a few of Carls current BnB combos? I've read so many from the past but from recent match vids they are all different and I still find myself doing CS1 j.2C 2]D[ setups. Thanks.

  15. My aopologies in advance for such a scrub noob question/request. Does anyone have the notation and/or explanation of the Carl CS2 reset loop he does in nearly all the Japanese match videos? Or a link to a post explaining it. I can go off what I see in vids and replicate that but I would really appreciate the notation and if possible an explanation of it and ways into it. Many thanks
