As far as I can tell, buffering is only necessary for 720 motions.. Even 360s can be done standing.

I think another thing I'll have to train on is buffering. And planning ahead of time I suppose. Oh yeah he practiced for quite a bit to get to the point where he is now. I was able to beat him a lot when I played it with him for the first time, but now the tables have turned.

I've figured out how to buffer a GETB from a simple kick.. You just gotta be really fast. I can see how enough practice can get ya there.

Oh I'm on XBL. I'll give you my gamertag in a private message if you want. AND YES, my timing is horrid. It's either too fast, too slow, or I press the wrong button. I am practicing my combos and timing in training now though. More help and advice will always be appreciated.

D:l He can pull off a combo that ends off with the Tager Buster as the final blow. THAT FUCKER CAN BUFFER LIKE THERE"S NO TOMORROW.

Hey man, saw your thread and wanted to throw out a couple tips for you. One, you on XBL or PSN? I'd be willing to throw a couple games at you if you're on XBL. Two, for your combos... I'm still pretty new to Noel, and I fuck up a lot of relatively easy combos. When I notice it, I can always attribute it to one thing: I'm going too damn fast with the inputs. BlazBlue (and most fighting games for that matter) won't accept early inputs and just buffer that in for you. It's not nice like that. For combos, especially on characters like Arakune and Hakumen who don't have a lot of gatlings, it's all about the timing. Don't rush the inputs, but don't take too long, either. The biggest part of pulling off combos is learning what the timing on each move is. Vary your timing when you drop a combo, try waiting a little bit longer on that next hit. I guarantee you if you just take it smooth and hit at the right time the combos won't be a problem.

Tager's fun. He would have been my main if not for Rachel. Can your friend pull off the Genesic Emerald Tager Buster on you?
-
Just Main characters for me haha. You're gonna get lot's of hate mail if you ever get good with the squiggly :o What other games have you played before?
-
I think that's what I have my IRL Tager player friend for when it comes to practicing ANYTHING. We just have to play together more so that he could train me in the way of Massive Soviet Damage.
-
The other option is to keep playing online matches. Sure, you'll probably get owned, but at least you'll be able to pull off this stuff more and more frequently. Of course, do this once you feel comfortable doing this against the dummies and the AI.

D8 I gotta grind my skills then. LIKE A BEAST. Just to make myself adequate. ADEQUATE BEAST.

Well the problem is if everyone just started a thread every time they had a problem, this site would have even more clutter than it already does. We have a general discussion and questions thread for that kind of stuff. "Axis Bait" is bait I throw to get Axis to troll a thread lmao. No offense to you at all though.

Honestly, it takes maybe 100 tries to get my basic air combo in consistently enough to use it on people. And even then, I may end up dropping them.. I'm the type of person who has tried practically every game genre imaginable, and I can say that fighting games take far more effort than almost any other game I can recall. However, for starters, I would look at the moves that start the combo. I'm pretty sure under certain circumstances, some of them are harder to pull off than others due to the nature of the starter. I'm also PSN exclusive.
