  1. Air Throw mid combo is pretty useless, though. I'd take guaranteed 6C > 2DD over a gambled move that forces me to RC to do anything else. Throw combos are about the only type of combos that get negligible benefit from mixup. Just needs to be untechable and highest average damage possible.
  2. Well, I was messing with Goryus' Throw > Dash > 2C > 6C > Dash > 2DD > TK Sabre > 3C > Wheel and I noticed you could just as easily Throw > 5DD > 2DD into 6C for the same effect with slightly more damage and slightly easier timing. I managed to get up to the wheel only once as proof of concept but I'm still learning the timings. I was wondering if I was missing something about 2C potentially being better? Before I commit my muscle memory to an inferior combo.
  3. Thank you. I've practiced all these on the list and never knew how much you can do out of a 2C. Same with 6C. 6C > 236D always catches people off guard. Can you 21478D out of 2C/6C/3C? You're right. I just needed an example to focus the discussion on how to get a blocking opponent to not block anymore. I have been doing more damage faking a grab than actually landing a grab. I might take a look at the frame data but experience really helps in teaching the properties of the moves.
  4. I'm not looking for generic advice on how to use a forum. I've read the stickies and the basics and the front page, but rarely is anything touched on what I'm talking about. I found the hit confirmed stuff, a small note about multi-hit attacks being the hit confirm, but I haven't found any major discussion about blockstun, pushback, tick-throws or what-have-you within these combos. Just that the prescribed combos work and that's all you need to know.
  5. I'm pretty new to this game and at first I thought that the most damaging combos would be the way to get good, but I realize now that the probability of getting a combo in far surpasses the value of how flashy it is. It means good blockstrings. If anybody has any input on these, I'd be grateful: -safe blockstrings to get better positioning -blockstrings with good mixup -good combos with hitconfirm into a RC or DD (aside from 5DD4DD236D)
