Venue size being a bit smaller sounds like an understatement. I wouldn't want to be in there with 30+ people. Hype up a monthly, sure, but... don't hype it up too much.

You can sign up on our community forum/chatroom combo thingie here http://www.sankishin.com/board/index.php If you do show up at the Friday event, venue fee pays entry for all tournaments, so might as well hop in and see what happens! So I was told you live pretty much on the way to Ottawa from Côte-des-Neiges, actually. If you want we can pick you up on the way as that seems less of a waste of your time, just PM me your address I guess. That, or you could come over Friday night too and sleep over to make it even simpler. Whatever works best for you, really.

I'm staying Friday night at Brice and Pedro's place, so picking up Brice is not an issue. Steb, Darkwolf, I have no idea how Montreal geography works except the general idea Google Maps can give me. If it's possible, be in Côte-des-Neiges Saturday morning and it'll be really simple (for me). The alternative is someone's going to need to suggest a meeting spot near you guys, because you probably know way better than me what's convenient. And then I'll be counting on Brice and my GPS to get me there. I'm thinking leaving around 9:30 AM is good enough. I'll be driving both ways and you don't want me to fall asleep on the way back~
