Just saw this, and being the scrubby tager player I am, thought I'd comment. @1:15, wouldn't a Counter Assault have worked? I mean, sure you wouldn't have been able to use the 50 heat later, or safely continue a combo (maybe a Collider after, as it has invincibility during the throw), but that could have saved the round. Again, just a scrub with a thought or two.

That was just a profitable side-effect; in the end, it was the best way to get people excited about purchasing their heap overflow USB sticks. A Overflowed PS3 could execute native and foreign code supplied by the end-user, so you could toss a downloaded EBOOT.PBP and it could be convinced the code was okay to run the same as code you downloaded off the PSN. Its a main linchpin of the series to use Red/Blue (white and/or yellow) as the main character's color; its easier to discern who to root for (and when they go "bad", they pick up red/black MSs). Its as much justification as all fighting games take place in tourneys. And Tao's DLC color can't be jubei; jubei's face isn't orange (they've been pretty damn accurate with the other cameos, I doubt they'd both cameo their own original character and then butcher it ).

Tao's cameo's special slashes have lightning effects instead of fleshed out slashes. And to be specific, its MS Gundam's color scheme for RX-78. 18 metre tall Lambda is scary to think about.

Most people I've seen cosplay semifurry characters tend to use clear fishing line to secure heavy tails; the cloak/beret outfit would end up having a bit of a rigging up the back to keep the tail attached to the outfit and the wearer. Not to mention this forgoes the issue of discomfort; should one try the battle outfit, a similar setup would be possible, making a clean appearing (accurate) cosplay as well as sidestepping the fetish fuel (one of the worst things to hear at a con: "IS THAT A BUTTPLUG?!?!" ).

Its in his color palette swatch; there's five or six colors in the CS arcade palettes that designate what the /EFFECT/ files color into, so I'm sure its damn near identical in the console port. From what I recall, its the colors right before the electrocution color palette. I might screenshot compare later.
