  1. Jin's 6a is comboable on CH into 5b I believe. Litchi's is still superior though. The only thing Jin's has over Litchi's is that it breaks a primer I think. you're supposed to do 6b CH>glide>tsubame directly so that they aren't hit by the staff when it comes back down (thats what really prorates the combo badly). With the correct spacing that links into 5b>6c (1)>6kote>hatsu...etc And I don't know if this is only possible in CS2, I think its probably possible in CS1 if you hit with Tsubame correctly. I myself have been practicing the new corner combos. Ex: (staff is completely cornered) w/e>hatsu>riitchiA>ippatsuA>drop>44>hatsu>haku>chun>5b(>j.bcb)>6c (1)>4kote>j.b dj.bcd>j.c>6c (not completely cornered, like after a 2c>6d in CS2) -w/e>(hatsu>riitchiA>ippatsuA>ippatsuB)x2>j.bcb>6c (1)>4kote>j.b dj.bcd>j.c>6c -w/e>hatsu>riitchiA>ippatsuA>ippatsuB>hatsu>haku>chun>5b(>j.bcb)>6c (1)>4kote>j.b dj.bcd>j.c>6c overall her combos are a lot more fun/interesting than before. Although I can't deny that I'll miss my precious itsuu EDIT: Also tried out airgrab>itsuuC>6kote>hatsu>riitchiA>ippatsuA>ippatsuB....etc. Very weird but fun new combo. Waiting for CS2 cuz the new litchi is hype.
  2. I was bored with SF4 so I saw gameplay of CT and decided to get it when it came out. good buy
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehDBxVuOOts part 2 of the poppo set. Poppo is amazing btw
  4. Yes, very useful. SJ>glide throw is also useful for getting out of the corner (at least as Litchi). It appears that Platinum's isn't as fast as Litchi's or Carl's though
  5. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm13561578 6:56 I believe thats an air kara throw that platinum has. Its the same concept as Carl's or Litchi's air glide throws where they interrupt the startup of falling moves after air dashing with a grab. This causes them to air dash at almost a 45 degree angle very quickly. Platinum appears to be able to employ a similar technique with her j.d (hammer). Sorry if this is known.
  6. Correct. Litchi's jump startup is 3f. Arakune used to match this but his jump startup has been increased in CS2 (tp 4f I believe), making litchi the only character with a 3f jump startup.
  7. Where were Chou/Kyaku T_T
  8. None of the new Itsuu varients have the staff go back to you on block. They always go through with the follow up regardless of hit or block. ItsuuC in particular seems to give +f on block because of this. In the situation in the video, it looked like the follow up may have just missed for some reason, seemed to shoot out too far.
  9. Some new stuff
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjlvpvJJhwY Jin (kogatan) vs Litchi (Mikami)- Both SBO qualifiers Some really good shit in here from both players. Very very solid Litchi with some new combos. EDIT: *3:21- non CH air hit 2a>2c[m] works. Useful after Chun. *9:45- off of daisharin mixup/daisharin hits; x>hatsu>staff comes down>hatsu>riichiA ippatsuA>ippatsuB>dash2c (crosses up)>j.bcb>6c 4kote>j.b dj.b j.cd j.c>6c *11:53- (into corner) 5b[m] 5c 3c RC 6b wallbounce 66d hatsu riitchiA ippatsuA dj7 4kote (delay) j.b 5b JC j.b j.bcd j.c 6c *j.2d seems really useful in general. Good crossup, also seems +f on block. Not sure if it is though. MOAR EDIT: *12:10- staffless 2c gatlings into 5c? Thats new right?
  11. Her CA is a bitch. Once she has 50 heat you really can't use much 2c or 5c at all. Although maybe you could react to her CA after a 5c lets say and cancel into daisharin. Luckily her CA is her 6c in CS2
  12. Knowing Dennou he's probably going back to Jin if he's still active.
  13. My name was never changed. I just haven't been active on the Litchi board until now if thats what caused the confusion 0_o

  14. Agree 100%. On the bright side, Carl's "oki" is way better now with j.c knowndown and 3d resetting. Doll management actually seems to be somewhat of a big deal now though. I've seen Carls, thinking they were going to win the round with their resets going on and on, and then their doll runs out. Its a sorry sight.
  15. After watching that again I doubt it was goro. Style was different, goro usually seems more impressive, plus I hadn't heard of goro being in this tournament, although its always possible. And say what? Goro switched from Lambda?
  16. Buppa is too broken to play at tournaments...
  17. Must be a part 5, that was only the first semi final. Anyway, who was that litchi player who went up against yumura (I think) and the ara in part 4.
  18. Chou was way more impressive than Don, there's no mistaking that. However, it was still nice to see Don beat like 8 people in a row. EDIT: I liked Chou's 2a 5b 2c Daisharin (6) Haku, dash to other side 5b Hatsu RiitchiA IppatsuA IppatsuB 5d (ground trajectory)>air combo. Also I believe that such a thing may also be possible from 5c combos. Only you'd have to do 5b 5c 3c Daisharin (33) etc
  19. Yeah, that combo did 5.7k 0_o. Involved the pan, multiple 2c's (I think, thats the AA move where she sticks her staff DIRECTLY up right?), and then the upgrade super>missile>ender. Still not sure on the specifics.
  20. K so on the CS2 tourney stream that was just up: First off a black DLC (morrigan) Litchi just wrecked like 8 people straight, although he got owned in the finals by NSB, the platinum player on Chou's team. Speaking of Chou, he's still using Litchi it appears and he's still rockin that pink. He OCV'd a team in the semi-finals. Also, some interesting stuff from 4d finally. Really looking forward to this character.
  21. What? Wasn't the black litchi a part of the runner up team, and not a ragna player? I distinctly remember her getting astroll'd by NSB.
  22. Was Tsujikawa the third member of Chou's team?
  23. Holy crap this black litchi is just slamming through everyone. Just lost though. Got some nice info about 4d though. EDIT: WTF. Pink Litchi=Chou? I thought he'd be too much of a tier whore to stick with her.
  24. There was a lot of mention of kubo earlier in the comments. Not sure what it was about though.
