Yeah that was pretty lame that the sets got cut short lol at the idea GG can ever gain enough "momentum" to be a bigger tourney draw then SF/MK though, or make Capcom and NRS feel bad for whatever reason This series will always be niche my man, just doesnt have the cultural significance to make it big. Even people who dont play video games know what youre talking about when you say "HADOKEN" or "FINISH HIM", but wouldnt know a thing about GG. I'm just glad Xrd is the current king of airdashers on the tourney circuit and has some kind of American scene. And as long as it stays that way, I'm good.
  2. Yeah it's in sad shape. Also who plays Ramlethal at a level worth watching besides Daiji? Who's even the best Ramlethal in North America?
  3. Not sure if it's common knowledge/been stated previously but setting a button to "play" and using it in challenge mode gives you a demo. Doesn't work in mission mode, sadly.
  4. Not sure how relevant this is to everyone here but ArcSys launched a new site with "an international focus" yesterday and it does list Xrd as a 2014 release in big ol letters Maybe Arc is trying to put those days of multiple-month-gaps between JP and US release behind them eh
  5. So even though I played the game at AX and have been watching vids I'm still not sure what the difference is between the two versions of Dauro (623P, green upswipe) I know the command list said "properties change" if you hold 3, but does anyone know whats different, exactly?

Uh yeah what guy above me said I was struggling to make out the music but i mean the sound effects are all the same old GG sound effects so if you liked those, then I guess so? you youre that sol player i tagged out of vv earlier today arent you if so ggs again looking forward to rematch when game hits if not woops ignore me
  7. Just chiming in with the rest of the people who went to AX to say this game looks and feels fabulous. (Just like this sick GG shirt they were selling, mmmm). One game as Ky aside, I spent the whole time playing Ramlethal and I must say she's a lot more intuitive than I thought, learning her many gatlings aside, sword management is easy and she feels really strong even at day 1 levels The game's visuals really are impactful though. The people I was with at AX dont even play fighters like that but this one guy I went with seriously wants to play the game just because he thinks that camera twirl at the end of a match looks "so fuckin cool" and another guy is gonna get it because "shit looks so good its gotta be sorcery" Game's definitely gonna rake in that new blood, question is if we can keep it around So yeah you guys are gonna like this when it hits EVO, I never played GG at a high level so I cant tell you if its a downgrade or whatever but its fun fsure

I can't understand why anyone would be miffed ArcSys is making the effort to get this game out here so fast, and really I think it's a good idea Even though most are going to get it on PS3 barring a horrifying version discrepancy, it's due to be the real premiere fighter on the PS4 and that is gonna help exposure I mean I'm not sure if Killer Instinct for example would be as successful(?) as it's been if it hadn't been the only fighter for xbone players right now, you know? So just to map this out, there's the 14 character themes, the 5 special VS themes, the opening and ending song, and the character select and title screen music. That's 23 tracks and if they're counting the overture leftovers then it's up to 25 two more songs then

Couple of typos in system guide under blocking some attacks are compeltely air unblockable under astral heat you will loose 100% of your Heat under danger state and negative penalty too many "Defeinsive Actions" in a row attacking the opponent, etc. cout under counter hit carry new combo opprotunities
  14. I keep reading that AC+ is sped up from the arcade version. If so, by how many frames? And is AC(PS2) arcade perfect?
