  1. Like nate said, I think you can only combo off it for free on CH, but I usually just go into 5B > TCL or 5B > 2C > drive, depending on wut the situation is like.
  2. GGs to people I played tonight. I played like ass again, I'm so mad at myself. Connections didn't really help either.
  3. The Azrael/Kokonoe intro will NEVER get old. And Im fine with people counterpicking, it just means I can practice that matchup if they know how to play, and if they don't, I guess it just means I won't have as tough a time.
  4. It's fine if you're new to the game and if they do, I would usually send a friendly message like "oh hey, try not to skip the intros, it helps with any lag issues", but when you have 2,000+ games and you're still skipping, you're asking for beatings.
  5. People who skip intros when it's clear the game still needs a moment or two to stabilize. Fuck those people, there is a special circle of hell for you.
  6. aki seems very strong actually, his new combo looks very fun, especially auto combo into atomic collider.
  7. When I played CT I had the hugest boner for Umineko, so Haku shouting this line made me imagine it was armoured Battler. "SAY IT IN RED BATTLER" /Yukikaze'd
  8. GGs to everyone I played tonight, I played fucking awful though, I should have avoided netplay.
  9. We need more Berserkermen up in here ARRRRRRRRTHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRR
  10. Yeah, I wasn't originally going to even touch Azrael, but I got him in random select in some day 1 casuals with a friend and he was incredibly fun, and I'm a fan of links, so he's been pretty fun to learn. I just need to do TCL consistently on pad. I picked Hakumen in CT because I was originally going to learn Bang, but I couldn't get used to him unfortunately. Fighting Hakumen in arcade mode and hearing his speech made me go "wow this character is pretty cool" so I looked up those beginner combo tutorials that came on the Special Edition DVD and just went from there. Looking back, I have nothing but fond memories of CT Hakumen, sure he was kind of gimped, but goddamn being a low-tier hero is fun. It was especially rewarding when you opened up the opponents you had bad matchups with and you just DESTROYED them. "I shall deny....YOUR VERY EXISTENCE!"
  11. I was originally gonna use young Valk but there is something alluring about the Bullet's ass icon. I don't even know why I play ranked anymore, I unlocked all the icons ;x
  12. I fucking love netplay. Randomly disconnect in my first bullet mirror (it was super laggy tho) (If you read this Im really sorry about that, hopefully we can play again in the future, you were doing cool shit and I was very interested) Get an Astral on a Hakumen and he RQs Sicklife, Bullet obv s-tier.
  13. ITT: Circ is actually Revolver Ocelot. And yeah, Junpei looks really fun after watching videos. I probably won't be dropping Aki for him, but I'm really eager to give him a shot at the very least. Also, thank you ASW for making Yukari do KR poses when she wins.
  14. F/Z Berserker day 1. I also liked CS2 Haku btw. He wasn't amazing, but he was still p.fun. I'm kind of like Koopa_klawz, I was buns with CS1 Haku, but by the time CS2 rolled around, I had gotten used to him and was doing decent stuff, despite having mained the fucker since CT I don't hate CP Hakumen at all, I think he's pretty solid. They just made Azrael everything I wanted in a fighting game character (mainly his hits feel like they're made of exploding buses) and I haven't really focused on Haku enough to git gud with him.
  15. I wish to give thanks for 3 bar connections that are actually 3bars and not disgusting usurpers.
  16. Were there many Akihiko players? I haven't had a chance to watch footage, so all I know is that Shadow Aki is basically WELCOME TO DIE from reading this thread.
  17. That gif has single handidly raised my appreciation for Arakune by about 700%
  18. But, Yukikaze spam is the BEST spam! I do miss 6D a hell of a lot though. When I first tried it for myself, I wept for about 45 minutes. I love D > Shippu though, that's always fun, especially near corner.
  19. As long as I get to growler everything, it's fine.
  20. I kind of felt the same way to be honest. Picking up Azrael was a breath of fresh air and meant I could focus on something else until I was ready to pick up Hakumen again and I am defiantly having fun with him now. Maybe you should try messing with one of the newer characters? Shit, maybe a character you wanted to play in extend but you never got the chance to. I personally wanna re-learn Valk and maybe Bang at somepoint, so if I ever feel like I hit a wall with Hakumen again, I know I have alternatives. I'm sorry if this post is hot garbage, I'm just giving a little bit of friendly cheer because I think you're a pretty cool dude yo! (though everyone here is <3)
  21. This seems so scumbaggy that the Gary Oak theme is now playing in my head. It's time to start applying fully charged 6Cs imho. Best move.
  22. I learn Haku's loop and now I can't apply it in netplay at all. fffff. GGs to ppl I played tonight. Shoutouts to 0 bars invading the EU lobby. Also shoutouts to Yukikaze. You are the best super.
  23. Whats the most practical starter to use to practice Haku's jump loop with? I've been using 5C and I've gotten it fairly consistently in training after I found out you could replace the 2C with 5B, but I'm having a little trouble with the finish, as he's teching as soon as I hit the 5A before 5B. I guess it's just timing, as I can do it now and again.
  24. Shoutouts to Rinharasaki for mirror matching me and stealing my Berserker palette. So mad at you for that.
  25. Man, the final episode was so good. Hakumen doing what he did was so rad.
