Just so I don't feel stupid forever, you could follow up 2d with Emma by pressing a last version right? Cause I did it for the first time last night and I wasn't sure if it was new or not. :x I never attempted it before then as it was in my mind that 5d was the only one you could follow up, and that 2d and 6d didn't work. The wiki says any ground d so I assume so I feel super dumb now Anyway yeah getting used to managing the meter better seems to be haku's biggest task right now. He's fun still but man I need to relearn. And I super agree about agito follow up, I had to force myself to do it but I guess it'll feel natural after a little while. It's super cool getting potential overdrive combos off Jd tho

Man I had such a bad time with Hakumen tonight. I know it's only day 1 but eeesh. The meter slowdown hit me harder than I thought it would. Anyone else feeling a little bit wobbly atm?

2B > 5C feels so good, but I haven't had a chance to try stuff as I got bodied by Azraels and Izayois all night

2B > 5C is such a solid buff, that's literally re-ignited my interest in the character.

The only hakumen you should be maining is scumbag hakumen cause it's the best hakumen.

I've been slowly ending loops with JC rather than J2C > Agito to getmyself out of the habit. I think the combo thread can go under a slight reconstruction as new stuff gets discovered. Maybe some fatal JD > Agito combos, but I guess they'd just be regular loops or OD shenanigans.

I usually try to do 2/3. if the connection isn't feeling too good, I'll apologise and move on.

Are you secretly implying that we should have Mori replace BB Makoto with 3S Makoto? Also a recent peeve of mine is going for a scumbag astral and getting a normal instead cause of input lag. Trying to initiate Relius' sexnasium and getting 214D instead, Ignis pls. I feel like it's karma though, idk.

It's ok, all you have to do is not get hit by her DP or 2C and then call her hat stupid. 10-0 matchup, (Her mugen combos are really really cool though!)

Oh don't get me wrong, I don't mind mirror matches, I just go "oh okay!" when they decide to bust out the day 0 pocket sub for you.

Actually, it was against a Bang that beat me, I was like "okay" I'll run it back, pick Hakumen again and then he picks Haku and I'm like "wow okay", but then I just went and won so it all worked out :V

Relius mirrors are fun to watch because they basically become stand battles. A peeve I've had recently is people trying to mirror match me. Especially when I want to play their mains. ;_;

I don't think permanent H1 would be the best idea, unless it got kind of gimped somehow, but starting in H1 might be cool.

It's fine, Berserker colour is best colour. I either use that or Baiken, which is what I've been using since CS. Speaking of which, I still don't know what Hakumen's reference palette was in CT/CS (Bang's Strider, Ragna's Gintoki etc) EDIT: Also, I don't know why but lately I've been really uncomfortable using Hakumen. I've never really felt like this before, but everytime I've tried to use him the past couple of days, it's just felt sluggish and I'm not doing things that I want to do. Maybe I'm in a slump, or maybe it's because I've been playing a lot of Bullet, idk.

GGs to people I played last night. My hakumen feels so rusty and I'm super uncomfy playing him for some reason. I think it might be due to too much Bullet. Uuuurgh.
