  3. I wanna volunteer to run more side tournaments for Melty Blood: Actress Again, Aquapazza, Arcana Hearts 3 Love Max!!!!! and Chaos Code. Instead of creating a new thread, I want to know if I can get these games added to the first post with myself added to the volunteers list. Information is still sketchy because it's so early, but I've at least created an open Facebook event to guage interest. 4. Yo Manabe, I was watching the Rebel Up stream and Numakie was running a new program for Melty Blood to help with button config on startup. Quickly digging through Melty Bread for the first time in years brought me to the following thread. Can you DL it by next Dogfights? http://www.meltybread.com/forums/melty-blood-auditorium/meltylauncher-mbaacc-button-configurer-and-launcher
  5. Ron needs to deliver your eulogy in his best DMX impression.
  6. With some leftover JP PSN credits (after getting Project Diva), I bought Ehrgiez: God Bless the Ring. Who's down to play this with me? I wanna know if it's worth unlocking all the Final Fantasy characters.
  7. I made a cross post on SmashBoards (http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=332843), but most of the activity is goin' on in an invite-only Facebook Group where the tournament is currently a pinned topic with over 50 replies. Imma be updating the Smashboards info with setup information I've been getting through FB over the weekend.
  8. Chance. GET! Anyways, I've already talked to Myung and Chun about handling the Smash portion of the tournament. As a fair warning, I've managed to wake a sleeping dragon and it sounds like over 30 people will be coming in for Melee alone (I hella didn't expect that TBH). I'll be willing to help out in other ways this tournament.
  9. I am behind this idea ('cause I can play this game).
  10. In an attempt to infuse this tournament with a sense of class and dignity, I've taken a list of golf's major tournaments and anime them up: - NorCal Anime Classic - NorCal Open Anime Championships - NorCal Anime Invitational - NorCal Anime Masters Cup - NorCal Quest for the Green Jacket We also got Tenkai's suggestion of "The Girl Who Leapt Through NorCal"
  11. Looking back on my last comment, I realize there was no reason why I should of even brought that comment up. It was arrogant and retarded of me to even mention that, so I apologize for that Qwerty. On a serious topic though, I am very concerned at the lack of consideration for a Melty Blood tournament. I know that numbers have not been as impressive over the last few month and the possibility for streaming is zero, but I feel that there are still a good enough amount of people who enjoy playing this game. Lately, we've been experimenting with a round robin style of tournament and for the most part the feedback has been positive as it allows players who aren't at all serious at the game to enjoy playing more matches for their entry fee. The obvious drawback is that it takes longer to run, but with people coming and going as they please, the wait isn't so bad. What I'm trying to get at is to let people on this forum know that I feel like Melty Blood is still trying to grow in this region. Instead of killing the tournament outright, just let the game stick around and see what plays out.
  12. Sounds good, however don't stroke your chin on how good your collection is. I just came back from Final Round and saw SK's infamous book of poverty. It was truly inspiring.
  13. You know, I've been thinking how funny it would be to run a mystery tournament a la MidWest Regionals involving those kinds of games. If people would be down to provide a ton of options, I wouldn't mind running this kind of afterhours tournament for shits and giggles.
