  1. Wow, I need to check up on this thread. I just missed the little get together. =[
  2. I see, D: I guess I need to learn how to drive then. I don't think I'll be able to make this one.
  3. RG would totally come, but RG has no smarts or means of going to Dai's house. =3=
  4. When I first saw the CT trailer. I liked how Arakune talked as he read the book...but I main Mu now because she gets no love...TT^TT
  5. I see! Thanks for the advice and info. It's really cool to see how much the game has evolved!! D= If I were to be playing though it would practically be Naruto all the way though. Master him while learning a new character.
  6. I've been so out of the loop man, I stopped playing at UN2 (still my fav to this day) I have no idea how much the game has evolved. The stage shouldn't be banned, only when TS-Temari uses it xD. That's so broken. Perfect timing You know he's done that a lot. Can you sub outta it? Also the sad part my town is near the town FAB lives in. As a matter of fact I go to the school that his town's school used to be the rivals of.
  7. Dai, I'm still new to the scene =/ and if i could've gotten a ride there i would have known where Gamepad was for the tourney. But I didn't go forgetting what and where Gamepad was.
  8. Actually I like Blazblue. Preorded Limited Edition CT, Normal CS and a BB TE Limited Edition Arcade Stick (#1309/1500) I even complied a list of japanese players, romanized names, characters and the colors of the characters they played for a reference guide before BB came out on console and I'm a member of Blazblue.co.nr, Dustloop.com and lurk around Blazblue.com to name a few merits. Just because it doesn't at first appear to have a deeper level of play does not make it a bad game. If no one dove to explore the contents of melee on a deeper level no one would be playing smash at the moment competitively. If no one wanted to explore characters in games, no one would find loops, cancels and the likes. You can't just judge a book by it's cover. People think pokemon is a just a casual, fun game, but it has deeper levels of play such as EV training and IV breeding, stab, natures, abilities and items. The metagames of most games evolve for those who care to explore them.
  9. Haha, yea. That quick start up recovery jabs vid made my day. We need to definitely start up a competitive UN/NH/NA community.
  10. Yea I know how you feel. I wanna play a new one like that as well. Cept 2D. I don't mind a storm similar to that one though.
  11. Ah we used to play like that too, One time we played with too many items...there were too many devil winds being tossed around...
  12. Don't know where Gamepad is to be honest.. =(
  13. Narutamate Hero is the real name of Ultimate Ninja. That one is on the PSP right? My main is Naruto and I second Guy or Neji depending on the game I'm playing.
  14. The thing is I was a smash-head before I got back into more "traditional" fighters. We turned off Items and just played Ultimate Ninja with the Ninjas and the kunai, shuriken they gave us. I'm a fan of Ninja Storm, you must understand that I just prefer 2D fighters over 3D, my brother and I used to get As when we Battled in Storm and we tried playing and got only Cs and Ds. It was pretty fun though. It was only 4 people that played in our UN scene, but with those 4 people we developed into very good player and learn cool combos techniques and strategies.
  15. Yes, the Ultimate Ninja series games on the PS2, PSP and Storm and Storm 2 are on the PS3
  16. Does anyone here play Naruto Ultimate Ninja 1-3 as well as the unreleased ones from Japan? I'm not talking about the 3D storm, that's trash compared to the rest (though it's a beautiful game.) I was thinking about restarting the Ultimate Ninja scene again in my community. We were pro yo. I was wondering if anyone here played it competitively at all or have any thoughts about it.
  17. I add you as fren now.

  18. I gotz VP on my laptop and play it quite proficiently with mah JAPANESE C-C-COMBOS and yeah, NY and I'm well aware the NY scene is dead and won't be back for a while...as for Jail Bait...I don't have any attractive young girl friends I can bring over to play smash although there are tons of middle school girls running around in the town next to me as it's a suburban white town with nothing to do...
  19. Sorry, no license, no car. If I had one though I'd totally drive us there. Yo NY, what's with the dead thread? Other then the flushing tourney is there anyone who is having a session or a tourney? We all need to meet and play up. It can't just be 1 on 1 sessions with SIne going to another dude's house anymore. NYC is the best and we need to step our scene up. I know life happens and I have to deal with it too as I'm gonna get kicked out my house and move to Michigan soon so I wanna get my last few digs in before I may possibly leave the greatest scene on eart. We need to make stuff happen.
  20. I'm glad it helps and yes sliding to the left actually is better as it's more natural, good call! That also works, I do that sometimes. When I play I sometimes don't pay attention to my character =(. Glad it helped. My original thinking was for helping out those who were just picking her up, veteran or new players alike. Yea, for sure! Whatever helps people get a L3. I've memorized the timing way before I posted this, I just needed a way to do it so it causes less stress on my hands after too many pushing the D buttons. Thank you all who comment on this topic.
  21. Thanks for the heads up Dai, what's the venue and play fees?
  22. Hmm. Good to know. Thanks! This is valuable info for a Mako player! >=D
  23. Haha, yea sorry bout that. It can probably be done on pad as well because I do the same thing on pad a different game. Used to be a pad warrior...
  24. This is just a small short thread for those using a stick and have some difficulty trying to get level 3 on there normal D attacks by holding a button. (does not work on Distortions). You can quickly slide your finger (specifically the ring finger for those who use A Style or thumb for b style) to get level 3 D moves. It requires some getting use to for combos and you have to muscle memorize the timing. It is a different way to use the buttons, but I'm positive it'll be useful some. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Simple Directions! position your finger on the left side of the D button then slide it off to the right. You can start it in the middle as well. IZ MAD EZ YO You can dismiss or don't use. Don't hate, don't flame me. Just a little Idea, just a little trick. Just trying to help my fellow Makoto brethren. My fingers get tired from negative edge and crud (surprising not from arakune loops and combos...) so I thought I'd employ this trick sometimes...the title sounds sexual now...
  25. ffffffff, I knew I should've gotten a xbox fightstick. Either day is fine with me Mahouko. Except I would need a ride as my parents are gone this next week. I could bring my two arcadesticks and my ps3. (and other things needed to play it...) if you want.
