  1. Thats so beautiful Sesame! I know I probably already said it, but I love your style!
  2. That would be really awsome! Iv really admired his work for the longest time, but I can never get a clear cut process as to exactly HOW he dose it. If anyone who knows enough about his artwork based on the types of materials he uses and stuff like that, it would be great!
  3. Sorry guys, but I just really have to ask this. Was there ever a translation released for the section of the 2007 artbook where Daisuke drew the May picture and went through the process step by step? I saw glimpses of what appeared to be tracing paper, manuscript paper, and the use of .05mm lead.
  4. Ok guys, I gave it another shot and used a lot of the suggestions you have given me. I know I have a ways to go, but I beileve ill get better the more I draw and practice. Anyway, this time I did a picture of Nu. http://i56.tinypic.com/207rh42.jpg
  5. Really? I scoured the net like crazy to find out what Diasuke used for is art, hearing all sorts of stuff like painting, markers, pastels ect. At any rate before the mods go crazy, I humbly thank you guys for the critique and will surly use what you guys have given me. I promise the next one I do will be 10x better than this one. BTW, spend 4 hours this morning drawing and observing the human form.
  6. "Sigh", very true. I guess the only real way to improve as an artist is to keep drawing and observing until everything becomes second nature.
  7. Well see, heres the thing. I didn't try to "exactly" copy Daisuke's work, but rather get that whole "unrifined yet detailed" look that iv grown found of. Also, I really have been studying human anadamy as well, collecting all kinds of reference material like books and tutorials, but appearently I STILL suck at doing even that...
  8. Well dustloop, is been studying Diasuke's artstyle like crazy and I wanted to experiment with my prismacolors a little to try out something somewhat based on his artstyle. The picture itself is a little generic IMO, but it took all day to do and im mostly pleased with myself. Ill keep developing my artstyle based on what I did with this picture. 9. It means you suck so hard that every time you fight, your opponent dosen't even have to try in order to beat you. Hence the term "free".
  10. Because despite what my sig says, I don't really have a character iv thought of as my "true "main"so I still suck hard at a lot of stuff. Dropping combos, using attacks I know I shouldn't, constantly losing to Tager with Mu ect. I know that to get super good, I should focus on one character, but this game has so many I like that its really hard to just dedicate all my time to only 1 or 2 characters. However, I guess I still do decently online :/
  11. I just really started trying it today and her 632146-D seems to work best on jump-ins and pre-determined cross-ups. In general, a punish move that dose a crap load of damage if planned and executed at the right moment. Fought a friend who plays a mean Noel and as soon as I see him trying to j.2D me overhead, I hit the move with all 4 steins out and it takes a huge chunk out of his health Not sure how it works on Tager since he beats out a lot of Mu's set-ups.
  12. Can anyone recommend me some good jump-ins and anti-airs? Also, id really like to know how some ways to use her 632146-D move effectively.
