(about an otaku Hikkikomori who finally kinda finds out about life) Yojouhan-Shinwa Takei (probably the most well made anime i've seen in the past 3 years) Mushishi (all about life and the japanese view on it) Terra E... (hard Sci-fi) Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (Another SHAFT work like Bakemono - about a teacher who's extremely pessemistic and his crazy class of girls with tons of problems)
