    Lol, it's seriously just to play BB. It's sort of one of my few hobbies/ things I do competitively, and I can't get any better by just playing my friend who lives here. So we both decided to make the trip to California, which has the best BB scene in North America. I'm not a 40 year old man, but I am really young D:

    Lol, I think you misunderstood me. That wasn't my first match of CS EVER, but like my 4th match of the day, so I was playing pretty badly. I'm sure you'll do fine when CS comes out, rachel isn't all that bad. If/When I go to LA, I'll definitely meet up with you at AI, of course if you're okay with it.

    I wasn't even playing that well in that match, it was like one of the first of the day :/ I think I'll do tons better with tao in CS, if only because getting damage is easier and she has much better priority. Tao has low health because she has the second best damage in the game, and it's really really easy to get 6.5k with her. Even if you don't think you'll do well in AI, just go to play good people and you'll get tons better really quickly.

    Yeah, if you know anyone who's going down to kelowna for any length of time refer them to me so I can play someone other than DF2K. Likewise if I'm heading up there I'll arrange to play you guys.

    Isn't that kind of lazy? Small as the community is in Kelowna, it still counts as a community. If someone from Kelowna were to go on dustloop, go to matchfinder and see West Coast Canada, cool, Kelowna counts as that. They would look at the player list, see no one lives in Kelowna, then probably ask in the thread. At that point you would either direct them to this, or say you heard of "these two guys" who live in Kelowna. Basically this is so that anyone in Kelowna can see there are two people who live there who play, and make it easy to contact them.

    They pretty much all hate Blazblue, and none of them are in Kelowna.

    Tao is more about playing defensive now. She ties with lowest health in the game with Carl, so random jump ins are generally bad. You have to wait for opportunities, like when your opponent does a move with lag, then go in and taunt loop them. Whereas in CT you could jump around everywhere and not really worry about it. I feel bad for you and rachel :< Have you met any of the good players in Cali yet? You should attend a tourney and get in top eight then get put on youtube :3

    What do you guys think of making a Taokaka critique/advice thread? It would be a good place for people to post videos of them playing and then for other people to give advice on them. Thoughts?

    Awesome, thanks for the input. I agree I was doing 5B>6A too much that match when it was whiffing. Isn't charging the j.C a good mindgame though? It doesn't really seem like it would make a difference if I charged it or not.
