He also released a new multi character combo vid recently (litchi included) here: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm23123759 Video's not available anymore. Seems like it got hit by copyright infringement by youtube for the song. Oh well.
  2. Seems like her changes (based on the combo video by mio) was pretty much minor. I also noticed that her overall combo damage was nerfed tad bit. Fair enough.
  3. Kote cancels... As if you haven't got enuff combo options already. Would be fun to see though. hah.
  4. "Chinroutou – On hit, the animation is now much faster. There is less forward movement during the animation." Shorter range on the first hit ? Or is it less distance traveled on the combo animation? Anyway, I think it's a great reversal on a staff less litchi if you have meter to spare because of it's invisibility and range. I do hope its the latter.
  5. I actually saw this on galileo's stream last night on practice mode. Barrier blocked super ball then 6b[m] was actually able to punish it. There is a slight push back on 6c[m] (plus hitstun) which would avoid super ball then you can head to haku, hatsu, chun. Too bad I can't fuck around since I don't have kokonoe dlc. :|
  6. Alright I think I'll hold off my thoughts with the 'what if' scenario until I've seen/get hold of ver1.1. For now, I was checking on how to punish super ball and saw pens vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtHQ8wjVxxA&list=UUVivVH3MKljF0qkFeVlFjjQ (really helpful btw) I think for corner punish you can go 6b[m], 6c[m], 2d, haku, hatsu, chun, 5b, 5d, 3c, kanchaan, tsubame for more damage; or you can just OD > etc. edit: Was supposed to be in a character specific thread
  7. Yeah, it'd probably change most of her combo route... which will suck big time.
  8. I think Arc planned to remove 4b[m] > itsuu A altogether, but jp players confirmed that it's still doable; just more strict in the timing. I guess the nerf is pretty minimal if you compare the changes to other God tier character.
  9. It's like Arc forgot Makoto existed in this version. Anyway, I think most top char were nerfed (minus tao) though backstep inv changes... This I gotta see!
  10. I wonder if you can still pull off haku, hatsu, chun to 2a, 5b, 4b[m], itsuuA, 4kote... with the increased recovery though. I do hope so.
  11. I'm reading the changes to litchi. I'm not sure but I think they've nerfed 4b (?). Does that mean no more 2a, 5b, 4b or 5b, 4b?
  12. Honestly, I'm fine with her moveset right now. Although a bit of a straight forward character, I can't find a real weakness with her if you know how to use her tool set.
  13. I was wondering what changes will be implemented with litchi. Maybe they'll nerf her OD and then give her a new move to compensate. What's your wishlist?

  15. Kokonoe too powerful at the moment. It seems like she has all the proper tools; great speed, normals, wallcarry, neutral game, oki, unblockable--what more can you ask of a character? Heck her damage is also very high with all the meterless combo and stuff. Question is, what are the chances that she'll be patched? Or will this be the same scenario as valk on cs? (Guessing this would be the latter)
