  1. I'm not really interested in playing CT Ragna with DP knockdown. There isn't really anything new or cool with CP Ragna. Bloodscythe is the only new thing he got, but it doesn't offer a whole lot. Ragna still seems like a solid character now but looks horribly boring compared to previous versions. Azrael is new, manly as fuck, and kicks people. A lot. Looks like a fun character.

  3. Except Buppa was actually a very strong GG player though. I don't follow Hazama players so I'm not sure how he stacks up to the best, however. At what ranges/conditions though? Looks like it's safe if you do it max range. Not sure about point blank DS or point blank DS with dash cancel after it.
  4. Kaqn could probably beat most Americans, but that's not saying much. He's pretty dumpster tier compared to the BB gods. I'd say using 5D(1) into DS on very rare occasion back in the day would have been all right, but now that DS is no longer plus on block... yeah... RIP Ragna.

  7. Even when Ragna was S tier in EX, he didn't really produce results. It's just harder now since he got so many nerfs. They could've at least given him a command grab since his overheads suck da D now.
  8. I can see why 5C got nerfed. If it didn't, 22C DC dash 5C would probably work on everyone. Still sucks that it got nerfed, though. :/

  10. 22C was looking pretty worthless outside of maybe doing once in a corner combo. I think it's kind of lame that 22C lost its oki properties. Oki after DP knockdown is pretty bleh at best. I don't think 2A/22C OS will even work anymore since 22C got nerfed so much.

  12. Apparently Ragna's midscreen BNB is now 5B > 3C > 22C > Dash Cancel > Dash 5C > HF > 5B > 5C > Air Combo. Good damage and corner carry, according to Jiyuna. Ragna alive afterall?!
  13. Is lifesteal back to the way it was in CT? Otherwise, it only gained that much because of how many life steal moves he did prior to Bloodscythe.
  14. Unless they changed 3C so that it causes hard knockdown, I don't see 3C OD j.C even remotely working, even if OD is instant start up and recovery. They'll tech immediately after the 3C.

  18. 6A being not JC-able on block is a pretty big nerf to that normal. I don't remember 150% meter BK combos in EX that were practical. Like I said earlier, the biggest problem Ragna is facing right now is that they nerfed everything that was FUN about him. Now he's just a neutered CT Ragna with sad damage and even worse mixups.
  19. Ragna doesn't get to have fun anymore. Fun only for people playing against him. Wish I had that ascii art Jiyuna was talking about yesterday. lol
  20. It's not necessarily max damage that is making him pretty weak right now. Comboability is down to pretty sad levels, 6A nerfed pretty badly, nerfed overheads, and no more 22C oki hurts A LOT. I think the biggest problem is that they took out a lot of things that made Ragna fun (he was still fun in CS2, even if he was considered weak), and all he gained in CP was... Blood Scythe. lol
  21. All combos do pretty sad damage, not just Spirit Juice combos. I'll give Ragna a try when CP comes out, but things aren't looking good.
