The more setups the merrier, imo. Chris plays on 360, so he could probably provide another 360 stick for those who don't want to put up with those awful pads. He's also our only Makoto player so far, so I guess he'll just have to avoid playing on your setup for the time being.

So for all of you Georgia Tech people in this thread, I'll be bringing my ps3, BBCS and my stick to Tech Rec this wednesday afternoon to get some games in with whoever wants to show up and play. Ivysaur said he'd bring his stick, as well, so unless some urgent group project classwork pops up in the next few days (and even then I'd just leave the ps3 with you guys for a few hours and pick it up later) I hope to see you Tech folks there and have some fun and hopefully learn some new things. Edit: Also, Paul: You said if i wanted my stick dual modded to work on 360 I'd need to get a Madcatz 360 controller, correct? Is there anything else in the way of materials I need to get before I hand it over to you for some hot modding action?

Indeed it is open to anyone. It will most likely be located on Georgia Tech campus in the Klaus Advanced Computing building. You may want to PM someone *cough Desu, cough* your number so you can contact us when you're near/on campus and we can know to let you in the building, as it is locked to people without buzzcards. Chris is working on getting a room reserved (or I think he is based off of previous posts) so we don't get booted out like last time. Since it seems like a LOT of people are getting interested in this, we might need more people to bring setups if possible. I know Paul, Ivysaur and myself can (and 3 seemed to work fine last time) but the more the merrier.

I'm planning on going as well, but I'll need a ride from someone if it wont be at Justin's place (otherwise I can walk there with my ps3/stick from my apartment).

Are there going to be gatherings both today and Saturday, or am I missing something?

Friday sounds good. I'm pretty sure nothing's going on for me then. Edit: I'd rather not host at my place, but I can bring a TV and a ps3/copy of the game if we need one.

In all my years at gatech I actually have never been to AWA...I should definitely hit that up this time around. Also, I'm happy to see this much Blazblue hype. Brings a smile to my face.

Pretty cool there. I've been thinking of modding my stick (hurr hurr) as well, although for the purposes of getting it to work on both xbox 360 and ps3, not for looks (though that might come later). If any of you knows anything about how I would do that, let me know. Otherwise I'm gonna wade through SRK's tech talk forums for a bit. As for the return of Combo Breaker, that sounds great. Sadly, I'm not in Atlanta this summer, but I'm gonna try to start attending some of these gatherings once I come back for the fall semester. Hopefully I'll be used to using a stick by then.
