  1. Understandable lol. I'm up for FT5'ing whoever usually wins or something though!
  2. Still doing Koihime? I'm probably rolling up with the other NC guys.
  3. Trying to play a friend and all of our rooms are auto-disbanding. We played a long set fine the other day. Any ideas?
  4. I got one each from Videogames New York and Focus Attack. FA posted on Twitter today that they had them back in stock. Other place: http://videogamesnewyork.com/ps4/
  5. Good info, Bill... And nah, not playing Sakuya, I don't like her dress for some reason. I'm playing Roselinde (becasue Sasara) and Sonia (I do like rapiers...and armor dresses www).
  6. I've been impressed with the Brook super converters so far. Got one that works for PS2 > PS4 and now a PS3 > PS4, which seems to work the same way.
  7. I hadn't heard/seen anything of the balance of the game until console launch now, so...uh...it does appear you guys are making quick judgments here. Can you source a Japanese list/discussion? I mean, I do trust you guys, especially Bill, but I all too often see the anime scene crumble when it comes to these slower games. It's something that's bothered me for a while. I think you may just have to approach playing them in a way you might not want to, mostly neutral and defense. I think that same thing happened largely with AP and what little chance Koihime had. Anyway, looking at matches, I see characters other than the ones mentioned seeming to do fine. The last vid I watched actually was Pairon beating a good 'hime 6-2. Basically, seems those strong poke characters rely heavily on the life lead. Chip damage and long range lows/overheads aren't really as much of a thing, so they have to take a (probably comparatively) slow/floaty jump to take a risk and approach you. I don't know how we can think Misty is garbage tier when the character has developed not a week yet, across the input of some...3 people lol.
  8. lol I was just thinking about canceling my Koihime pre-order, too, and getting this. I must have the SSH OST on CD, though... I imagine the scene for both will be about the same, i.e. basically none at all lol. I haven't seen Koihime at all anywhere, not even a random setup at Evo.
  9. I don't really get it, looks fine to me? For this and for NPB though, not sure if I want to get the PS3 or PS4 versions. Could do either...have better control options for PS3, but worried PS4 might look/play worse.
  10. No, I didn't mean Sonico's attacks per se, but her (and Saber) both seem to have louder/different step sounds than the other characters. I'd noticed it before mainly just with Saber matches, I figured from her boots being steel. The two of them going at it at that one video posted earlier just seemingly doubled the effect, lol. Hopefully it's a small peeve I can get over.
  11. Does it bother anybody else how...loud and obnoxious the footsteps are?
  12. Wow, you're crazy lol. Feels great to me. Her normals DEFINITELY aren't terribad.
  13. Re: vs Oboro at CEOtaku, it was entirely my fault. I let him in every time because I was impatient. I had a similar problem in other games that weekend, I would win a round (with a perfect, level 3 or something) and then go in. I'm not all that great at going in anyway, and a lot of the time going in isn't to my advantage with my characters lol. I have to dial it back and play to my strengths: being calm.
  14. So Go1 is pretty good with Chizuru. I did win a match though.
