Which dp? The HS dp loses, but the S version can go thru and actually hit potemkin first....AFAIK

The only characters I can think of would be like Baiken w/alpha counters and Jam to parry the Gigantor....but I see people do this to like every character. Also for the Bullet part, it usually only works on everyone but all the girls and bridget...'cept ABA cuz she's so heavy...oh well. And also, I thought Sol can just uppercut thru the gigantor? I've had that and Order Sol do that to me tons of times...and yes they do get hit, but their uppercut knocks me away and then they just run the stun off and turtle.

How come the Japanese Potemkins never do the loop anymore? In all the recent videos, not one Gigantor > Slidehead was seen...what gives? I know there's a way out of the setup but I always thought that it was character specific...or so it said in Arcadia Magazine. Instead of the loop, the Japanese Pots usually get right next to them and do the ambiguous Slidehead or 6K setup...is there any other usefulness to using that besides the fact that you don't need meter for the Gigantor loop? Yet I've seen Japanese Pots who have plentiful meter and even when the other guy doesn't have a burst or tension to alpha counter, they still go for the Slidehead mixup as opposed to the Gigantor loop. Am I missing something here? If so, I'm willing to bet it's like "oh ok, you just do *BLANK* and you get out of the loop for free....any ideas?

I think a major issue affecting some people in the US is the lack of variety...I mean we don't have many fausts or bridgets around here (and believe sol too for that matter) but we have a lot of johnnys testaments and potemkins...So are you saying a community of 3 people should learn all the characters? Another part...ok watch videos? I dig that, but what if there aren't that many available? I play Axl and I say good luck to any new shit I see in Axl videos...I see like one gimmick/setup along with the same old basic gameplay....There are not a whole lot of Axl vids out there and I've already seen the ones that exist...Unfortunately I don't know any other Axl players besides Niiyama, Mensou, and maybe Shuuto...Any tips here?
