  1. Awesome. So are you going to reveal the cast, or wait until it's actually released?
  2. Some strong hints for me about Dizzy being Sol's daughter involve her EX mode in GGXX. More specifically, the Necro Install overdrive. From my experience with Japanese storytelling in anime and video games, two characters do not share a distinct special move unless one of two things are true: -The characters are blood related (Father/Daughter, Brother/Sister, etc) -The characters trained together from a very young age by the same master (Ryu/Ken). So now we have two characters with an eerily similar Overdrive with identical inputs and similar properties (both benefit from increased speed and power, but Dizzy grants perma-Super Armor while Sol's powers up his specials, too). Also in Dizzy's EX Mode, she has Michael Sword, a normal special also shared with her Mother, Justice. Dizzy's does a downward slash while Justice does a full-screen horizontal swipe. Both have a unique "screen-cutting" effect. That evidence there was pretty much what sold it for me.
  3. What I mean is I don't have the resonance for someone like Ragna, Haku, or Tager. I think I can pull off a mean Relius, though. Probably Hazama, too, but I think I missed the chance for that.
  4. I'm sorry I missed out on it. I tried recording a few lines, then I realized: My voice is terrible for most of the characters you need. I'm going to see if I can get a few passable audition lines for other characters later down the line.
  5. This looks like a ton of fun. I'd love to join in and voice a character. Though I echo the sentiment that you should hold auditions for each character. Basically get a few classic lines for people to do. Like your Haku should be able to nail the "White Void" speech, and Jin should be able to do the Yandere "BROTHER!" like. Preferably they should be the same person for storyline sake.
  6. Yes, I realize that my post was pretty hardcore nerdraging, not really my intention. Anyway, right now the only character in this game that remotely interests me is Deadpool, and maybe Dante. Since X isn't in it, that's one less incentive for me to get this. Then again, isn't that what this game is all about, anyway? One giant nerdgasm?
  7. All I have to say is if they consider giving us Zero as "appeasing the X fans," I'm going to cancel my preorder right here and now. I've been waiting for X to show up in a Capcom vs game since the inception of the franchise. Zero in TvC was a step in the right direction, but I want to see X himself! I'll take Sigma and Vava/Vile, though, as long as they keep the X8 voices. Of course, I think I know why X won't appear. First, Capcom practically refuses to acknowledge the X series's existence. Second, Mark Gatha is retired.
  8. Something that has been ticking at my brain... There is a huge emphasis in game based on Color, especially Blue, Black, White, and Red. Ragna and Nu-13 wield the false Azure Grimoire, yet Ragna is clad in Reds and Blacks; and Nu-13, likewise, is predominantly in Whites and Blues Hazama/Terumi is the Black Susano-o and creator of the false Azure Grimoires. Haku-Men is the White Susano-o The NOL Creed, "Dispatched in mankind's darkest hour, we are Knights of the Blue Flame!" The different branches of the NOL color motifs: "Shimmering Blue Flame," "Corrosive Pitch Black," "Incorruptible Pure White" Bolverk exploding into Blue and Red energy before Noel was consumed by Blackness and shoved into Adventus to be tempered into Kusanagi. Just about ANYTHING meaningful Arakune says involves color of some sort. Not to mention the bright, vibrant colors that dominate each character's appearance. Each of the major characters (Ragna, Terumi, Jin/Haku, Saya, the Murakumos (Lambda, Noel, and Nu), Litchi, Arakune, and Rachel) have at least one or more of the four colors as a dominant part of their design. Just a nagging thought in my head I got from a translated line in the CS console theme "Until the world is covered in Azure."
  9. Have you watched Episode 1 yet? You still have to watch each episode before the next one unlocks. Once you meet the requirements, it unlocks provided each previous episode has also been watched. Remember, before I went through Carl's story, I had EVERYONE ELSE except Litchi and Arakune Clear or Clear + Joke beforehand. FWIW, here's the order I went through story mode (May not be exact, but close): Watch Teach Me Ep 1 Ragna Joke (Unlocked Noel, Tao, and Carl) Noel Joke (Unlocked Jin) Tao Joke (Unlocked Bang) Bang Joke (No unlock) Ragna Clear (Unlock Rachel) Rachel Joke (No Unlock) Noel Clear (Unlock Tager) Jin Clear (No unlock) Tager Clear (Unlock Tsubaki and Lambda) Lambda Joke (Unlock disappointment) Tsubaki Joke (No unlock) Tsubaki Bad (No unlock) Tsubaki Clear (Unlock Haku-Men + Interview) Haku-Men Bad (No unlock) Haku-Men Clear (Unlock Hazama) Hazama Joke (No unlock) Hazama Bad (No unlock) Hazama Clear (Unlock True End + Interview) True End Clear (Unlock Dat Ass and Dem Lazrs) Ragna, Noel, Jin, Bang, Tao, Rachel, Lambda, and Tager 100% (Unlock VA Interviews) Carl Joke (No unlock) Carl Bad (Unlock Teach Me Ep 2) Watch Teach Me (Unlock remaining episodes as watched) Carl, Litchi, and Arakune 100% (Unlock remaining VA interviews)
  10. Maybe it's a random chance based on the number of times you DD/AH them? Or it could be related specifically to the Jin fight and not Noel/Carl.
  11. False! I got Tsubaki's Bad end even without fighting Carl. Told Carl about Relius, AHed Jin, beat Noel normally, and got the bad end. It was also my second time through her story. First time I went for the Joke ending. Anyway, I just did Carl's story on my playthrough and unlocked the remaining episodes of "Teach Me, Ms. Litchi!" Looks like you need to have all (non-Litchi/Tao) characters involved receive a non-joke ending to unlock the episode, so that means: Episode 2: Bang and Carl Episode 3: Hazama, Noel, and Jin Episode 4: Tsubaki and Jin Episode 5: Ragna and Rachel I've yet to go through Litchi's or Arakune's stories, and haven't yet gotten Carl's True End either. Got Joke end first, then Bad end. Episode 2 unlocked after the Bad end. It might also be percentage-based.
  12. Well, so far here's my status: Ragna, Hazama, Tsubaki, Hakumen - Complete Noel, Bang, Taokaka, Rachel, Lambda - True and Joke Ends Jin, Tager - True End only Carl, Litchi, Arakune - Unstarted Still only have episode 1 unlocked. Do I need to rewatch the original "Teach Me! Ms. Litchi!" Segments, too? I've only rewatched the first so far.
  13. Had something similar happen to me. First time doing Tsubaki's story, I skipped Carl, then AHed Jin and got the bad end. Then I went through again, beat Carl normally, DDed Jin, and beat Noel normally and got the good end. I think the rule is 2 or 3 DD finishes or one AH finish = Bad End. BTW, how do you unlock the new "Teach Me, Ms Litchi!" segments? So far I've only gotten the initial episode. Is it related to story mode at all like the first one?
