What way would you suggest to hold the fight stick that would be most compatible with hop specials?

I have a quick question about inputing hop Hotaru/Tsubaki. I understand how it's done, but I have trouble actually doing it, especially in a match. I am usually only able to do it facing right too, I guess the input is just easier for my hands to execute. Any tips for doing it more consistently? Especially for facing left, idk why it's so difficult for me to do. Maybe I'm like Zoolander

Hey everyone, just joined the site :] I'm having trouble finding an arcade that has BB:CS in the San Gabriel Valley (around Pomona-ishh). Do you know of any? I'm getting kind of sick of the laggy matches I have online with CT and I haven't even tried CS yet!
