So uhh.... what would you guys say the best thing is to do whenever you get turned around backwards between j.5C > j.5C's??? I love it... I'm not talking about whenever you simply cross over or under the other person, I mean when you randomly get aimed the wrong direction between attacks for seemingly no reason... If you do the j.214B you'll whiff... So just don't bother with it and call it a dropped combo? What do you guys do in this position O_o

I didn't think it would so I was just trying to double check. And I obviously wouldn't rely on a worse combo just because it looked cool. It was literally just because it was fun to screw around with in training mode. :P

Phoenon I think you should work on your j.C's > throw combo more... you whiffed it almost every time in that video. (the follow up, not the throw itself) -
Oh, another thing I was working on... Not sure if it's possible because everytime I did it right I'd black beat it... but it was a fun combo. 5B > 3C > 214D~C > 5C > 214D~B > Jakou > whatever your location allows It would usually blackbeat on Jakou though, so I don't think it's viable.

Having trouble picking the opponent up off the ground after jakou. Example: My back is to the wall... combo whatever into Jakou, then 2B > 5C > 2C > etc OR after Jakou > 5C > whatever. I'm having trouble landing the hit before they tech. Any advice? Is it easier to catch them if I do a certain combo before jakou? Or is my timing just off? Also that Jakou to j.6D is still nigh impossible for me >_>

I'm in Murfreesboro... really wish something was going on. I keep meaning to check around MTSU and see if there's any local small tourneys or players around... but well obviously I haven't done that yet And yeah I'd definitely be down for a tourney at Game Galaxy. Would love to see you there Astaroth... We still need to CS it up online man!

Yeah I meant to specify reversals without heat. Sorry about that. But yeah I'll try to work with 2A and 2C they sound best. I've tried 214D~B before but like you said it just takes too long to come out. Same with Venom Sword...

Best way to get out of corner pressure? What's the best way to get out of blockstrings? I was thinking 5B or 2A or something, but I have no idea what I can do that's safe when I get stuck in a corner against a good Ragna or Litchi or Bang... HALP

SO far lag has only screwed me on the j.214b's after a 4D~A, 4D~D. if I skip the 4D~A I'll usually have no problem. It also screws me on 214D~C after Jayoku.. but I've managed to get it more often than not now that I've practiced a bit.

What links into his Falling Fang overhead the best? (214D~A) I REALY wish 3C did but it doesn't. What's best to follow up with after you hit the overhead while doing blockstrings?

Is Venom Sword (jabaki) any good for opening? It comes out too slow I'd imagine, but it'd be a funny counter hit opener

Hmm... do all Arakune's still jump at the start of a match like in CT? and how safe is dash 3C really? You can just hit it without dashing anyways can't you? Why dash? O_o

What would you guys say Hazama's best match opening options are? The obvious pick seems to be 3C but it comes out too slowly, and would be too predictable. Is dash in 5B viable? Or do most of you guys start out back dashing/jumping?

Also, Phoenon, try throwing in 4D~A and then do 4D~D, that might help on the aiming a bit believe it or not. As for 6D~As after Jayoku, it's basically the same concept as doing 4D~A two or three times during the bnb combo. It's the same concept. You have to retract it the second it hits and then launch the next one. The timing can be tricky at first but once you get it down once you've pretty much got it.
