  1. JC JD isn't much of a buff to mid-screen game. Bang already had strong mid-screen standing and aerial confirms. I would rank his among the strongest in the game. Any normal starter was (and still is) corner-to-corner carry. Short starters gave damn near half-screen carry. The JC JD "buff's" REAL use is to procure proper okizeme off random aerial confirms, particularly with short starters, by way of basic 2-seal route (jd web nail 5c 6d) as opposed to j2c knockdown that the opponent can easily disrespect. Don't know why we're making it seem as if it's something GREAT
  2. the player's avatar moves away from the cab after losing as if to give priority to the person waiting to play the victor. I sat waiting through the match, and as soon as your friend lost, and his avatar stepped off, I pressed x. The first time I did this, your friend STILL got on. I am not going to sit there indefinitely waiting on your friend to get tired of losing or until you guys decide to conclude the set. If you didn't want to play me, you should have just thrown me the "X" or just decline the match--OR "use words" as you've suggested here. I would've gone about my business. As for fighting players my own skill level, I go where the color square leads me (as much as it mightn't be at all accurate) in the event that I don't already know the player from personal experience. Anyway, I won't trouble you two again.
  3. Again, refer back to my reply. Your friend was furiously mashing x to steal a turn. He lost and therefore, had NO BUSINESS trying to get back on. It doesn't work that way--not when people are CLEARLY waiting to play the victor. I know the lobby isn't supposed to to simulate arcades; it only has the look. There is no coin to prolong your turn, so when you lose, step off and allow someone else to play. It's common courtesy. I didn't intend to "jack" anyone's spot. There was a scarcity of competent players (non-casual), so I went wherever the color square led me (as fallible as a measure of a player's skill it gives). I sat and waited for someone to lose.
  4. ...people really need to learn how the lobby system works. If you lose, you have no business getting on the cab if someone else is standing there waiting their turn. It's left to the discretion of the winner to decide whether or not he/she would like to rematch the loser, and that can easily be indicated with the "x" emote/sign to decline a match with an unwanted opponent. You did not indicate that you wished to play your friend again. I was waiting, and once he lost, I took my rightful place. AND I CAN ASSURE YOU, ID was NOT why you lost those matches. At every attempt on my end to reset pressure, you always responded with 236a or 2c (why?) as if it couldn't be punished; early/predictable burst and counter assault as soon as you had the meter to do so--as if it couldn't be baited and punished. Anyway, if you don't like people interrupting your sets, make a private room, or throw the "x".
  5. yeah, when you spend meter.
  6. i'm really surprised you guys are just now connecting the dots on something that's been there for a while now. 5c 6b on fatal is VERY old. if the underlying frame data on 5b, 5c, and 6b (bounce change aside) remain as is, then the corner combo is 3c 2b tk623b d.5b 5c 6b d.5b 5c 6b d.5b 5c 6d 623b 2b 6c jc j2c for 5.4k--the same damage it deals currently. it's rachel specific for now, but will more than likely be universal in 1.1--and corner mightn't even be necessary to string together a few reps of d.5b 5c 6b :/
  7. Cael, we didn't play today.
  8. what? i rarely pm without provocation. the last time there was any exchange between us, i asked one simple question to which you remarked was "snide" in the way it was framed. there was no ill will or vitriol, i'd think. we even played on several other occasions following this exchange. i DID tell you of my alternate accounts in passing, but H4NZ0 would be the only account i've ever addressed you in pm. perhaps confusing me with someone else?
  9. the 6d stuffs the teleport on 6d mash, 6c(1) whiffs and the second hit catches jd, 6c(1) punishes both 5d and 2d
  10. play ragna. you can use 6c(1) > 6d to beat all of bang's drives
  11. star...how do you NOT know about Litchi's crouching hitbox? D:
  12. damn, i wish i could beat j2c
  13. DJ_Daishi is stayfree...Jesus, people...
  14. dear God, what have i started? Tong, i appreciate the attempt, but mashthat5a answered the question rather unequivocally. I like Amadeous' answer best, regarding 22c in the aforementioned situation as a "proximity unblockable". I asked, not because i was unsure how 22c functions normally, but how it functions as presented in the video. i have NEVER seen anyone procure a 22c starter.
  15. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm20983467 can someone explain what's going on here. How do we determine exactly what 22c is as a starter, UB, CG, or can it not be determined since the dummy can't block?
