Lmfao man, so many spammers online; it's ridiculous and hilarious at the same time. You can literally just stand in place and the opponent will keep pressing 2A/5A...I tested it out and it's funny as hell. Can't wait till 3 months down the road for less silliness.

Hell no! They are ALL unsafe.

[CP] News & Gameplay Discussion (Old)
Soriphen replied to kosmos badgirl's topic in BlazBlue Gameplay
As much as I praise P4A for its mechanics, BB will always have a special place in my heart <3. Felt shafted when BBCSEX came out without little changes and at full price, which stopped me from playing BB. Used to fiend BB like nuts as well. Welp, I'm definitely going to get BB3 out of obligation! Hopefully, they've made good changes to the system. -
I'm saying it has more focus on fundamentals than BB does. I love the BB engine, but, P4A uses BB's engine with better implementation of fundamentals cause of the mechanics of the game.
-
It's exactly what Skye said. More fundamentally sound than BB, in a sense that it's more grounded in fighter fundamentals. It's well balanced (aside from Naoto infinite) as well. It's also very easy to get into, yet, it still retains mad depth. I'm not even hyped about the fact that it's Persona; more like hyped about the fact that the engine is amazing and has a deeper focus in fighter fundamentals. It has more focus on cross-ups, cross-unders, pokes, throws, oki game, anti-airs, DPs, overheads, and footsies than Arcsys's previous fighters. Yes, I love fundamentals that much thanks to SF3/SF4 LOL. Aside from my fundamentals praise, the game has the flair of Arcsys fighters in that it's unique as hell and flashy. I've never played a Persona game, yet, this is the fighter I've been waiting a long time for. There's a ton of footage to show, but, it's useless if you don't have your eyes on a character you're interested in watching. Check the challenge combos of each character in the game http://www.dustloop.com/forums/content.php?407-P4U-Challenge-Mode-Combo-Videos then we can find you some cool footage of them in action.

Lol cause of frame data.

Would there be some publication of a P4A guide/handbook like the Bradygames stuff on SFxT/SF4? Wait, did BB had one? Time to google.....

Xie's Laboratory - P4A Gameplay Video Q&A Thread
Soriphen replied to Xie's topic in P4:Arena Gameplay
I'd like to add to Alpha's question in asking if R-actions (besides Kanji's) have frame 1 invuln, etc etc. -
lmfao that's sweet. Can't wait to get my hands on P4A and Akihiko!!!!!!! Only one week left guys :').
-
So, meaties can't really be used to beat R-actions on wake-up like a wake-up DP in 3s, eh? Then again, it's a good thing if you can't do that, since there's no parry to counterbalance it.
-
Frame 1...lol dayum that's nuts. Oh just wondering, are meaties important in P4A? If so, can anyone point out a scenario of it being useful?
-
Thanks for clarifying. So, Kanji can't really do much on wake-up. Man, I never knew Akihiko's R-action is AUB on first hit!
-
So, 4 extra songs aside from the arcade listing, eh? Looks good! Hope they sound hype.
-
Does Kanji's AA throw come out fast enough to punish a wake-up jump in? A good wake-up jump in too, like Yu's oki jump ins after the trip to that Persona move.
-
Just summon the inner SF fundamentals to deal with the mashed DPs. Man, I remember dealing with that a shit ton in SF3 and SF4; gonna be fun baiting them.
-
I have a feeling this game is going to have ridiculous DLC prices like BB...Hope we don't get DLC chars that cost 8 bucks on the first 3 months of release.
-
Shit son, the netcode is gdlk?! Like GGPO GDLK? IT'S DONE...I can die happy now :').
-
Ohh yeah throw reject miss...lol. Man, this game...so much focus in the fundamentals! It's just so fine-tuned :').
-
What's TRM? Haven't touched BB in so long.
-
Ahh that's cool. The lessons look pretty basic based on the titles...hopefully they get descriptive like BB's can, for the newcomers. Hmm weird question...If BBCT came on PC cause of that random publisher, would it be possible to make some petition to ask Atlus to bring it to PC? I'm honestly thinking of starting one, cause this game would do so well on PC, especially now that PC has more fighters. It'd be my dream come true :'). Thing I'm scared about however, is that BBCT didn't do so well on PC cause of the horrible marketing and planning along with a late ass release.
-
And this is why Arcsys is my fav fighting dev team :'). The thing I love most about this game is the better inclusion of fighter fundamentals. More poking, more focus on anti-air unblockables and DP moves, a universal overhead, more cross-ups/cross-under, etc. It's got a nice balance of fundamentals of traditional fighters, 'cept with the swag of Arcsys. Thanks for answering as well, Kurushii. Oh, another question. Is the Lesson Mode as deep as BB's tutorials and does P4A have character specific tutorials?
-
WAT, I completely forgot about how much mashing us pad players will need to do ;____;. Yo Kurushii, have you played online against anyone near you yet? Would love to know if the netcode is awesome or a bust...Hoping it's like BBCT.

New P4A English screenshots of various modes within the game!
-
Ohhh yeah forgot that not everyone has internet and the game doesn't have as massive of a marketing campaign as SFxT had to be able to rely on just downloadable updates. Well, that sucks LOL. I was hoping they'd go the CS2/AE route and make it either a free update or $15-20 update.
-
I don't mind downloadable updates, but please, no updates in the form of 40 dollar discs every year.
