I beat a couple of Taos spamming 214D~B XD When Tao sees you using Ouroboros she will just jump and try to use her drive on you and when better than Rising Fang to own the heck out of her.
-
I think that's very well explained already. If you can't get that then I guess you will just have to do without it :v Just try to start the combo when you are closer to your opponent. I have managed many without doing the dashing. Instead, when you are far try other things like block strings with 214D~A or 236D...

lol, true. I just wanted to sound easier, since it's easy to go from j.B to Hirentotsu as opposed to doing the j.C's first.
-
I use it when I don't feel like doing a normal BnB combo and instead just knock the opponent down. It doesn't work very well by just jumping and doing it, and you're right, you can't combo off of it. Aside from the j.214B#'s Hirentotsu can also be used like this: (Any direction)D~D > j.B > j.214B. This will hit the opponent down, very good when you hit someone in the air with a chain and do the ~D followup, but it works on the ground as well.

I used to main Ragna back in CT and it has taken a toll on me switching to Hazama. They work so very different it's not even funny. Sometimes I think I can just do A>B>C>D and rush in. But when I see the snake come out instead I go like: "oh yeah..." I got basically everything down for Hazama now, I don't see why people couldn't get his j.214B# it's pretty easy. The only problem I'm having is using 214D~C after I do this: 5B > 2B > 3C > ... It's like... you need to see what he's doing before you can input any commands... and for some reason that keeps failing on me, since I use 214D~C too late or too early that it doesn't even happen. On a side note: Do the ~B follow up when using his drive close to your opponent... it throws them off... lol
-
I find Ragna's combos easier than Hazama's though I got the snake down though, it's funny how they walk into it with a counter >_> People need to learn that the snake is not part of my body, hitting it won't do anything... lol

You could ask that question in the FAQ...if it hasn't been answered. But do you mean jump and C by "jc"? If so then you don't.... have to jump every time... you know... >_> It's j.c-c-c-c-c for the most part... then jump again and c-c-c-c-c. If you mean like... jump cancel, then I don't know how to jc into jc into jc into jc... it's not even possible :/ Or am I not understanding your question here?

Lol... thanks for the information regardless XD I'll see if I can actually get involved a bit more...
-
^ *points* Are we still doing this? >_>
-
hmmm Not a bad idea. It's just that they make it so easy to do... I bet some people are going to play Hazama just to do this and get the achievement to never touch him again. >_> It doesn't teach you how to use the character at all. Oh well~
-
... You can't be serious. That's it!? You can actually get it that way!? wow... I'm definitely going to get this achievement doing BnB combos instead... -___- That's too cheap.

Oh... lol. Yeah, I meant that Jayoku was the one that didn't hit after it was countered. It's usually a double counter with Jayoku being fatal but it didn't connect this time around. I think Hakumen would be able to counter Hazama's Jayoku and land a hit with his distortion. However, he would have to literally be using it before Jayoku even comes out.
-
No but really, like what the hell D: I mean, take a look at it, it probably hit during Litchi's move's invulnerability. That's one thing it would mess Jayoku up... Timing really does count when using it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_-jbRTPkag#t=3m6s

I have just seen a Jayoku Houtenjin being countered and it didn't hit, I was like

Hazama's command throw is just tricky. Nobody ever sees it coming because you dive in and they block, thinking that you are going to 5b them or something. And if you got good practice with it and know how to use it then it becomes really fun. Like Ari said, best use it in times like blocked chains, when you know the enemy is on the defensive. Just like any other throw really >_> the only difference is that this one leaves the enemy stun right in front of you, easy to do push around as much as you like.
-
You need to quickly let go of the stick after 2C and then press 4D... That's the only way I can think of how to do it, because you're right, if you go from the 2C to the 4D while going through 1 then you will probably get the 214D =P

Damn... I really need to learn Mu's moves in and out then. That way I can expect what she is going to throw at me and block accordingly, or counter her. I've seen Mu's short ranged combos and they are a bit annoying. As for the laser things, I guess I'll just jump over them like you said or just straight sprint and 3c her out of nowhere, even though Hazama can't sprint... I'll still do it >_> Mu also has to dash to get me at some points, and that's all the chance I need to beat her, as long as I stay away from the lasers.
-
An annoying opening would be a Hazama vs. Hazama match... I expect lots of clash going on there. Then again, all mirrors are annoying to start up. In the end, it comes down to who can hit the button faster for a move to come out. Or who can block it and punish it.
-
Safe on block? I don't quite get what you mean. If you mean it is unblockable, then no. 6a is an overhead, which means people can block it if they are standing but can't if they are crouching. If you mean that if it safe to use it when someone is blocking (while standing) then no... I don't think so, there isn't much follow ups to that move to keep pressure going. I wish you could though. How cool would Hazama be if you could cancel 6a,6b, or even 6c into other moves? One can only dream...
-
Actually, you might be able to get a blocked chain to work. I've seen people get away with a blocked j.6D > j.B > 2AxN to push the enemy back, and they don't seem to get the timing to do even a 5A. But that might have been the enemy being on the defensive. To be on the safe side, don't fly in on a blocked chain but if you do then you gotta be quick about it and get the hell back as fast as you can. If the enemy is blocking low a 214D~A might work... overheads and fun. EDIT: 6b is a low hit. Apart from being low it breaks a prime guard... which is kind of nice.

UUUUnded serpent that slew a thousand in a single night, open thy jaw and consume my enemy XD It's like... wtf, since when did he become such a great speaker? They really screwed up on the naming though, since it seems to take longer for the english phrase to come out. They should have done the same as Ragna and go with the english names from the start, even though they sound retarded: Burial Edgy or Carnegy Sizzah! It's like Hazama is a completely different person. I guess you could say that while playing the Japanese Hazama you are playing as Terumi, while the English is the actual Hazama. D:

lol... I've seen Unlimited Hazama and, apart from taking life force if you are close to him, he does so many weird freaking moves that you would not usually do... Like... I've seen him do Jayoku Houtenjin without the flash and then randomly going into something that looks like 214D~A followed by 214D~B but without the 214D >_> It's like... whu? Nothing compared to the new Unlimited Ragna though... I mean, it's the same as the last Unlimited Ragna except about 100 times worse.
-
Okay, just for the sake of having it and the fact that I am very interested in this match up. I heard that Mu's laser thingies mess around with Hazama's chain and I want to know if that's true, because if it is

I don't know much about the timing with 214D~C, I'm sure you have to do something there. But on your second question... 612C? Do you mean 623D? You have to do 6D~A to get the two hits (actually, you can do it as many times as you want until the enemy leaves the range of the hit) with the 6D, I believe. The stun time is the same as any other normal hit with the 6D. This is just easier because after you do the 623D you can then dash and 3C to start out another combo (spamming another Jayoku Houtenjin if you have enough heat) Or with some characters you can actually jump and 6D~D and go from there >_> I guess I should leave these type of questions to someone who has more experience than I do with the character =P I have only played him a couple of times and got the basics down.
